One of the big differences between us and Shaktar was pace and momentum. I think we sold our only touches of that when we got rid of shaun, kenny and beatts. We need to buy some pace. Its a very important thing in the modern game. We need real flying machines in the wide and CF areas. It really angers me that (despite the flaws of two of them) we have sold three pacey players without any similar replacements coming in. At the top level you need pace as well as skill.

the pace thing is a wider issue that I had been thinking about before last nights match. We have sold off every last one of our oacey attackers. You could even add Wallace to the list, who I think would give Aidan a run for his money now.

The Miller thing is only good business if you replace him or if it does not weaken you. We failed to replace, and are weaker due to that.

I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed. Give it a rest, Keltoi.
You sure you're not Miller's agent.

well done macdanny, and donati? mcdonald? killen?
now add all them up like a good boy and tell me your total
    then,
add up what celtic recived for marshall, miller, and anyone else we sold and take that number away from the number you got above and tell me how much your left with.
    i'll give you a clue.... its 2million.

    Donati 2.5 million
    Brown 4.5 million
    Killen 700.00

    That's 7,7 million

Minus the 2.25 million we got for beattie and marshall = 5.45

Now unless you're idiotic enough to add the last minute sale off Miller to that calculus, the end result is 5.45. Wouldn't expect you to be that smart though...

strachan has said the diffrence is 2million.
now, you telling me he dosn't know how much he spent? *
why would it be idiotic to add millers transfer fee? doesn't that count ? did celtic not get the money for him?

700k for killen? *. he was out of contract.

You make it sound as if there's one out there just waiting to be bought.
