just heard deeks is to start today! about time! the guy is way bettet than JVOH, but is in midfield today, hail hail

 

Yeh it's good to see the midfield is freshened up, about the team I would've wanted to play except I would've considered resting Jan and Nayls as well

 

only brown still has his palce in the team after a tough mid week game.
Deeks out on the left, hartley on the right, sno-brown

 

Must say I haven't been fond of Deeks attitude over the summer, can't believe Strachans given him a start.

Hopefully he can turn in a performance though and change my mind.

 

What are you talking about m8?.Whats up with deeks attitude?.Please explain.The guy has got his head down in training and got on with things.He put away a perfect penalty against spartak so it's obvious strachan rates him as a very good finisher otherwise he would'nt have been out there for the penaltys.Im predicting he gets 2 today against St Mirren...

hope he makes the best of his chance today, and puts in a good performance and maybe gets some goals.

 

has not really done himself any favours today

 

played better in the second half but in first half i would have agreed bit lazy getting back tbh but he is a striker.

 

at least he got afew chances though he failed to capitilize

 

I think he played good today, he deserves the start ahead of Jvoh so far who hasn't really showen himself so far but we are winning games so just keep the team the same.

 

He's been looking for a move for weeks instead of working hard, he see's himself as a better player than he reall is.

Played alright today, few nice corners.

 

IMO he will never be a starter playing wide left. He has a chance now as striker maybe now Miller and Beattie have gone and Magic is in unofficial retirement.

 

He looked good today and was cool on Wednesday night, Strachan should find some patience to work on this guy

 

I was really happy that he got to start today. WGS just never seemed to give him a chance and he did fine.
