    Same. He has a bit of dig, but can be wasteful. Is decent getting involved with the attacking play and scores goals but goes out of position..

    I'm happy with him at the moment, definitely..

    How many of those are actuall centre mids? Armstrong possibly..

    McGregor has performed better than all in that role and is good enough back up for those 2 just now..

    Not a fan as I've stated but he's doing ok.

    I don't see him as a long term centre mid though, certainly not in a 2 man midfield. Too small and is more suited to being further up the park.

    re-read my post . I am talking about Mcgregor challenging for the 3 attacking mid roles, not the two central midfield roles. I agree when Brown and Biton come back Mcgregor should be 3rd choice , although i still think Ronny would start his prodigal son Johansen in there first.

    As part of a central 2 who's job requires alot of getting back and defending then yes, I think he is too small and weak for that job.

    In a 4-3-1-2 as part of the 3 where there is less pressure on him to cover the back 4, aye.

    I think he's a lot more mobile than 'bigger' players, he's not afraid to do the dirty work. He's proving himself a useful wee player.
