I blame Janko more for it, Gordon just caught the ball and saw Janko last second how is he meant to go through Janko who is a lot stronger and carrying momentum? So neither of them shout for the ball but was clearly Gordons all the way yet Janko didn't look where he was running or realise he was running right at the keeper.

Every keeper should be taking the ball into the chest just because of occasions like this, leaving your arms out dangling with the ball is asking for trouble.

At 7 a side level with your mates, never mind the Champions League.

I actually can't believe he still has apologists on here. He is a consistent * up (is that a phrase?) of big moments in big matches.

Showed our highlights on itv last night and Hamman said the keeper should be wiping everyone out in that instance..

If that was a Hapoel player nudging the ball out of Gordon's arm's, this place would be blowing up over how pathetic Gordon was..

Im really dumbfounded at the interview both Gordon and Brown gave. Respect to Brown for trying to support his team mate and see the positives but im sure the manager will not be fooled that there is a few issues that need addressing.

He stands centrally in his goal in case Lustig or the Apoel player gets a touch on it then it drops quick for him to catch it beside him then looks like he's taking it in towards himself when Janko goes into him.

The speed it happens at I still think Gordon isn't to blame, he's concentrating on the ball and players in front why would he be looking out for his own team mate colliding into the side of him.

He just didn't have any conviction when he collected it. He waited for it to come to him then when it did he had a weak hold and didn't get his body behind it.

Watch it again, he waits in case there is a header then the ball falls quick so puts his arms out and catches it. As he then begins to pull the ball towards himself Janko knocks into him.

Craig Gordon: Manager gives us belief

THE early impact Brendan Rodgers has had as manager at Celtic has been quantified in many ways. His tactical substitutions and diversity in terms of his team’s approach has been hailed by many in the opening months of his tenure at Paradise as being crucial to winning games.
Bold changes to personnel at key moments of games have helped swing ties in Celtic’s favour, as was seen on Tuesday night when he shifted his team from a 4-4-2 diamond into a flat back-five to stem the tide of Hapoel Be’er Sheva attacks that were buffeting his team.
However, it is perhaps through his role as a man-manager and motivator in the changing room that his true influence is felt by the players.
Craig Gordon revealed ahead of Saturday's game against Aberdeen that the last thing the manager said to his team before Tuesday’s play-off clash against Hapeol Be’er Sheva in Israel was that he wanted the Celtic players to believe in themselves and believe they could be UEFA Champions League players.
Those words obviously stayed with the Bhoys, who did enough to dig out a 5-4 aggregate win in Israel, and Craig Gordon said that attitude has to be transferred over into league duty.
“The manager said that in his team-talk before the game,” Gordon told the official match programme. “That was our last words before we went out, to go and make ourselves Champions League players, and it worked.
“That’s what we’ve managed to do. It has been a long road and a challenge to get to this point since the manager came in but we put ourselves in a great position and we’ve managed to fight our way through.
“Now we need to focus on our next match and make sure we carry that belief and positivity forward.”

He's still at it, now trying to sook up to the boss when he's under the most pressure he's ever been under for his jersey.

His head is on the chopping block and Brendan is wielding the axe, we'll see if Brendan executes that tomorrow.

He's already said his opinion on Gordon about 50 times why keep going on about it? Everyone gets the gist. Don't understand why people like him hate on players so much, * me he yacks on about them as if they spit roasted his mum and split her * shaft into 4.

Aye but he's clogging up thread after thread, spouting the same * constantly. It's * tiresome and annoying. Already had one thread temporarily locked thanks to him.
