Defending was pish for both of their goals but he should have saved the first.

Too many mistakes in Europe from Gordon. Get a replacement, quickly.

Made a great save but beaten at the near post for the first yet again, happened too many times for it to just a be a one off mistake.

Correct and with the first they move up our right wing, get past our DM and score - this after they missed an opportunity with the header just after the restart. So it was interesting that after the 2nd, BR takes off our right back & DM. But hey, we defend poorly, our CB doesn't get back quick enough from a corner for the 1St, but the problem is our GK. Whit???

Basics of goalkeeping; in a one on one, make him go far post. More difficult shot = less chance of goal.

Molde, Ajax, now tonight. Not good enough (although his reflex saves are decent, especially the one tonight)

I'll say one thing tonight. His kicking was nowhere near as bad as usual..

It's not the first time he has been beaten at the front post, the full goal wasn't his fault but that part was.

Well Pep's getting rid of him because he's * with his feet too. :bbpd:

Anyways, just seen the goals again, second one a bit more forgivable but the first one I mean there was a gaping hole to aim at for the Happoel player at Gordon's near post. For me that's just poor goalkeeping regardless of how we defended it, you cannot be getting beaten like that at your near post.

Aye. He actually took a moment to consider where he was passing it when he lofted it out right to Lustig at one point.

Near post one was annoying as *. Should be doing better there, it is a clear weakness of his.

Good reflex save at a vital moment though, could prove to be a save that kept us in the CL, to be honest.

He is increasingly looking like a number two for me.

I don't know how much DDV has left in the tank, but you can imagine a number one keeper will be a target in the not too distant future.

His solid saves don't forgive his numerous errors and poor distribution. Will make a competent back-up
