I think Fabian is better than Bailly. Maybe he needs a wee run out?

Can't think of a high pressure game where he has played well (I.e Forster in CL well).

Some people are saying he is a good shot stopper but I don't think he is anywhere near the level of Forster and Boruc in terms of this. He does not give me confidence for the CL the way Forster did...and the funny thing is, Forster had woeful distribution and couldn't command his box either.

Still living off of his Europa league performances two years ago, decent shot stopper but pretty poor in every other aspect, we need better.

Trust the defence, Touré (I think) was close by, outside the box. His continual gambles out are causing major problems, and they aren't a one off..

He's been really dodgy already, that Leicester game again being one where he ran out to the bye line and was stranded and punched thin air in his box. He'd of made a good shadow boxer..

What about the one where they were offside and he was out waving to someone in the stand!! Has been really poor of late but I agree it's because we have so many other areas to fix first that we have not bought a goalie. I would not rule out a loan from somewhere.

We simply Have to replace him. He will cost us dearly. And why the * are defenders giving him the ball when they could just as easily whack the ball aimlessly up the park themselves.

How many more high profile * ups is this guy going to be allowed? Why does he get off the leash from mistakes time and time again?

He lost us both goals against Astana and we are nervy as * from set pieces because of him, we need better. Much better.

Gordon had to commit and was unfortunate to have it go to an opposition player. I don't blame him entirely for the goal.

Having said that, I think we need to look into replacing him as our number one keeper. Very good shot stopper, terrific first season, but he's definitely on the decline. Looks dodgy with the ball at his feet, isn't commanding at taking crosses, and is very low on confidence. You could tell at the end that he was gutted with his performance and embarrassed with the goal. I think he's made worse errors, but he knows he's struggling at the minute, which isn't a good thing as we need a keeper who'll put his mistakes behind him.

I reckon we should give him the benefit of the doubt and another season to see how things go in the league, but I'm fairly certain he won't do a Friedel/Schwarzer and play here at the top level until he's 40 so we have to seriously look at finding a replacement or even give Bailly a crack.

    Captain * Blunder!

I am getting absolutely sick of him punting the ball up the park at every opportunity to no *! Umpteen times Tierney was in plenty of space for a simple pass put wide.....but naw.....oor Craigy just lumps it tae *!

Gordon had to go for that ball and head it clear, with a makeshift defence in front of him.Just that guy did well to lob it over him, that kind of * happens in football.
Not going to condemn Gordon for that, I still have belief in him.

Its very very hard to find a good goalkeeper.
I am sure he will be steadier with Toure and Eric in front of him in due course.

We don't have the time to persevere with him.

The thought of going into a Champions League campaign (please *) with him fills me with dread. He makes at leat one huge mistake every single European game.

And half the time he punts it out the pitch. He's diabolical with the ball at his feet.

Just saw their goal again. He had to clear it, no doubt. A case of bad luck.

We were poor last season with crossed balls and his weakness is he can't deal with them. Another big game another fk up. New keeper please.

    We need a replacement.

The goal was * from him, aye but it was absolute criminal when he passed it to O'Connell with 3 * players around him. Passing the buck onto the 20 year old bhoy infront of him is * shocking and about sums him up.

Ah...I'm sure it was Efe's fault. I mean he's the one who usually gets some of the blame whenever Gordon does something wrong, right?
