  2. Gordon should improve with a decent defence in front of him.

Must have been watching a different game from some on here, unlucky for the goal but without him could easily have been 2-3

I'm going to keep banging this drum :56:

We NEED better. He is getting an easy ride off Celtic fans.

I've said for a while he's in decline.

Easy ride? That's understatement of the century, people blatantly ignore his obvious flaws that a decent keeper SHOULD NOT have.

    Exactly

His kicking and distribution is shocking.

  9. 1st goal today, was like the Rosenborg goal in the away leg against Malmo.

Gordon hasn't been the most convincing when it comes to crosses, indeed I would have fancied him to make the save had he held his position. Rather than come for the ball.

Made a very good stop after that in the 1st half and a couple in the 2nd. Couple of questionable kick out as well.

Europa league group stage performances 2 years ago aside, he's been poor to average. Can anyone remember the last time you saw gordon make a save and think that it was an amazing save? Forster and Boruc used to do it regularly, maybe we've just been spoiled with keepers in recent times.

  11. It's horrendous. I counted I'm sure 3 in a row straight out the park, and it didn't end there..

He's a complete flapper man, and I'm beginning to see a lot of defending him when he's indefensible and a case of "it's always someone else's fault "..

This guy will cost us in a big game. He is just not a good keeper. People cant keep blaming the defenders in front of him every time.

The goal wasn't his only flaw he did well to make the saves in the end but his positioning at times is * terrible at balls crossed into the box plus the one that was lobbing him there was no need for him to be that far out

Time and time again I've always said at hearts when be made his move to Sunderland he was highly over rated! I was proved wrong in his first
Season here but now I think about it I really wasn't maybe he just had a lucky one

He made a couple of important saves today - not world class saves by any means and at the end of the day is his job.
He also has a part to play in keeping position and not giving easy possession of the ball back to the other team

This becomes even more important when the defence in front of you is mince.

Another player I hope will be replaced with someone better sooner than later

You can look at the saves and praise them but what about the times he was exposed ?
