    Really loving Gordon now.

Got to admit I was skeptical of us signing an injury ravaged keeper who hadn't played in two years, but boy have I been proven wrong.

He's so calm and commanding, I feel absolute confidence in him being between the sticks.

Growing up our keepers were relatively *, now we've had Boruc, Forster and Gordon, three outstanding operators.

Class big keeper, love how hes always shouting at his defence and organising.

2 month ago I would have took Zaluska over him.

Fantastic performance yesterday and, it could be argued, won us the game in the end when some of the defence had switched off.

I, and I presume most were feeling the same, was upset when the inevitable happened and Forster returned South but yesterday Gordon showed that he is more than an adequate replacement. Commanded his area well, retained focus throughout the entire 90 minutes when others hadn't and wasn't shy in letting people know what he thought. I can see him becoming a legend of this era.

He had the ball in his hands yesterday & was screaming at someone to push on up throwing his hands forward I thought he was going to charge out of his box at him but not sure who he was talking to :56: great keeper

He reads the game exceptionally well and you could see him constantly talking to his defenders. Love that he is willing and able to claim cross balls. Long may this continue.

Has Gordon had a clean sheet yet? Serious question.

We played 1-1 against Maribor. :smiley-laughing002:

I would probably blame his lack of clean sheets on the defense though. Been dodgy at many times.
