He's done well so far, getting in the Scottish national team and playing CL is probably his career goals from now on and he could complete both in a couple of months of signing...although I wish he wore the No.1 jersey, feels weird when Keepers are wearing other numbers.

It's easy to see that he's quickly become an important assett in the team. A rumour of an injury spiralled into pages on TC of people freaking out - maybe more likely to inadequate back-up more than anything else right enough.

It was a mix of good keeper/bad back up..

In all honesty though, who was i or anyone to question what stevie woods had been seeing and saying for weeks and weeks, he really has stepped in and looks a top keeper and an absolute bargain..
I was dubious about the signing because of injury not ability and that question has still not completely dissapeared but so far so good he looks very capable of replacing forster..

Some of his saves have been top class and he definitely doesn't lack confidence or experience, commands his box excellently and isn't afraid to sprint off his line, so refreshing..

Fitted like a glove so far(no pun)..

Great buisness so far selling a very good keeper for 10 and replacing with another very good one for free..

Yeah, I agree with everything there. Really shrewd and clever business from Celtic.

I've always thought, when he was doing pundtry, he came accross as intelligent which is vital to controlling and commanding the back four - which he seems to be doing. Must read the game well to come off his line and break the attacks. Lloris at Spurs came off his line too often last season and got caught out alot by pacey strikers so if you can balance knowing when to run out and when to stay put you're in for a good keeper.

I thought, * here we go another tight signing with high risk of injury but it's working out well although early days..

Lloris came out far too much and too far out, so does neur and that's where you get caught out, from what i've seen gordon doesn't drift too far as he isn't as quick, still looks to be decent as a sweeper but i've been impressed with his all round game in all honesty..

I didn't like the fact that he was at the huns so long training but there loss and keeping him fit and ticking over is our gain..
He does speak well, i've taken to him..

His confidence from playing.in europe one week, being our number 1 and getting a call up for.scotland must be sky high, same with mcgregor and i think.we'll see that tonight..

Didn't know either of them had been called up, great news. The fact that Gordon was training with Sevco makes it an even sweeter signing actually, I forgot about that.

I've missed most of the last few games so not really witnessed his overall game, but everything I've read on here sounds positive and I know he's a quality keeper from his previous form.

Have to say, after being annoyed somewhat about his signing at first, I have confidence knowing he will be in goal for us now.

I think Gordon has been a great signing but if this injury scare tells us anything its that Zaluska ain't good enough to be our number two.
