The timing is absolutely right in my opinion. He's lost the fans almost completely at this point and after what happened on Sunday there's just no way back for him. I've backed him continuously throughout his time here and genuinely had faith he was steering us in the right direction but it seems Celtic came too soon for him.

I wish him nothing but the best wherever his career goes after Celtic. All we can do now is get behind him and the team for the remaining fixtures and push 5IAR over the line.

It would and could be quite swift it was Lenny. Can't see him getting the full gig but would be more than happy to have him in with a Moyes, think that could work brilliantly..

I personally don't want Lenny as number 1..

It was a great game though, a great tie actually. That period from January to April last season was really promising. All fell to * this season though.

Time to get behind this guy for the rest of the season. Get behind him and the team and push this title over the edge.

send him off right and show some appreciation. He wasnt the man for the job, but he tried his best.

It was more the way we played than the result. Fast attacking, good football that Inter couldn't cope with. It was something we're not used to seeing from us in Europe..

No fear. Bar Gordon who gave us all it..

Massive respect he never had to be pushed, no need for compensation etc
Things just never worked out and i wish him all the best.

It is vital that the Club comes first and instead of me being the focus, hopefully now the team and the Club can be the focus as we enter this final important period of the season.
"It was an absolute privilege to be named manager of Celtic, such a wonderful football club, and I have enjoyed my time here immensely. I will never forget the welcome I received almost two years ago at Celtic Park from so many fans. When I joined Celtic I knew I was coming to one of the world's great football clubs.

The players and coaching staff in particular Collins have let him down

Not sure lennon would want to come back as someones #2 given his history with the club.

The turning point for me was the Fenerbahce game at home. The first 35 minutes was everything we had been working towards in Deila's time here. Pressing, intensity, high tempo. If we had got 3 points that game we would have gone from strength to strength in my opinion. So aye, cheers Efe :smiley-laughing002:

I personally would have wanted Lenny and Ronny as was the original plan being honest. Now while I aint against Lenny there would be the feeling of 'will he leave again' just not sure tbh. I don't think Lenny would be prepared to be the no2 however.

Keane as Moyes' no.2 would be acceptable.

    * gutted tbh :56:

I'm with the 99% who want a new manager... But he's such a good guy, can't help but feel terrible for him :smiley-laughing002:

    Goodluck Ronny

Agreed. It was the first time I could recall us looking fitter than a big name in Europe also. Usually it is us being forced into mistakes by teams closing us down, but it was the other way round that night. Even the game in the San Siro was promising. We looked every bit a likely to win the game as they did prior to Van Dijk's red card, and then still looked good even with 10 men.

  15. Aye don't forget Efe in this fucken mess :smiley-laughing002:
He's got a lot of the blame for Ronny's downfall.

Mind you I was even toying with the idea Efe might have been a better bet than Lustig at RB on Sunday, but * that :smiley-laughing002:

I don't feel sorry for him. He has been the architect of his own downfall. The players you're saying never got behind him were continuously picked, despite not doing it on the park.

An Albert Einstein quote sums up Deila's tenure for me to a tee: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Who put Efe on the park to make another clanger in the long list of ones preceding?

I've never been convinced with his abilities, very glad he's going but I truly wish him the very best of luck in his future career.

Nice guy with the right ideas but out of his depth. Goodbye Ronny.
