i seen that. which is going to make parkhead an interesting atmosphere for the games remaining.

our board is hopeless. make the * decision, shitebags. the players aren't trying for him any more. that much is clear. the fans don't want him here either after the debacle that has been this season.

season ticket renewals? you're having a laugh. I know 3 ST holders that aren't renewing until a new manager is in place.

Chris McLaughlin said he understands Deila will be here until the end of the season.

I just can't understand why the board aren't getting rid now. It looks obvious that the players don't rate him.

Need to get rid of this idea that he 'deserves' to see out the season simply to collect his winners medal/add a piece of silverware to his CV. He's a well paid proffessional, not a charity case.

Its over for Ronny come the end of May. Have heard that Lenny will be taken back although there may be some issues with the board. So would expect to read some kind of 'apology' issued by Lenny in the papers along the lines of he was exasperated and jumped the gun, after taking time out he has realised he acted in haste etc.

Probably coz they don't trust JC or Kennedy to get us over the line :smiley-laughing002:
I honestly think they want Michael O'Neill or Roy Keane and are waiting till the end of the Euros (which would be far too late for our CL games) to appoint them

You'd think the board would have a shortlist just incase anyway. What is happening here?

One of our most embarrassing defeats and the guy and the 2 other's are still clinging on. Get rid and move FORWARD..

Also said Ireland fans had a "IRA and ISIS" banner during the euro qualifiers.

Something tells me he doesn't like Celtic very much.

I've always sat on the fence when it comes to Peter Lawwell, I can see the views of some about us not spending and therefore not liking him but I can also see the sensible argument as to why we don't spend as well. However this Deila situation is beginning to swing me to seriously disliking Lawwell.

Deila should have gone after his 3rd failed attempt at getting us into the CL group stage in my opinion and costing us a collective £30m-£40m in revenue. If some think that was too soon then definitely after our shambolic EL campaign where his team was an embarrassment to us. Still too soon for some? then after the Ross County cup defeat and Aberdeen league game. Yesterday wasn't the final straw, that straw came a long time ago, yesterday was * unnecessary and shouldn't have been allowed to happen because Ronny the clown should have * been here.

He needs to be sacked today.

Because it would only further jeopardize our chances of winning the league.

If he was sacked today we'd see either one of or a combination of Kennedy & Collins take over, which is pretty * pointless.

We're not going to sack him and have a brand new man in the job within a few days, it simply doesn't work like that in the real world. In an ideal world, yeah, but we're talking about reality here.

As for season ticket sales? As I mentioned, they'll sort themselves out before a ball is kicked next season.

New manager, new players, and the Huns are in the top league. Sales will be higher than they've been in years, so the board won't be worried about that.

The best thing for everyone concerned would be to remove him right now. The bad feeling around Celtic right now may well affect our run in.

Can't see this board getting rid until the league is won. Plus imagine someone came in and made an even bigger * of these five games and the unthinkable happened.

He has to go end of May though. No question.

I had never ever bought a season ticket but still went to matches when i could but will never buy a season ticket whilst Deila is our manager and PL is there.

As Paul67 said, keeping him here will also jeopardize the run in. We've had plenty of * results this season which has turned the atmosphere pretty sour and abusive. Can you imagine it now after the embarrassment yesterday?

    He has to go now.

It'll most likely be 'mutual consent' at the end of May. It's going to be an awkward run in though. Ronny and the club should make a statement that this is what's going to happen so we can at least back him for the last 5 games rather than constant 'Ronny out' *

I genuinely think without a manager at all we wouldn't do much worse. Names in a hat to pick the team, not far off what he does anyway as there's no logic to some of his baffling decision-making.

Daibhi, why do you think sacking him now would be detrimental to our title chances?

It's clear as day that the players don't want him here, the fans don't want him here, and pretty much everyone involved knows the game is up. Do you not feel that keeping a 'dead man walking' so to speak, is the wrong way to go?

For me the only real risk to out title chances comes from the team completely lacking motivation/throwing in the towel. That risk is mitigated by simply doing the inevitable, rather than putting it off until it's done at a later date.
