I think its fair to assume its probable the majority of the support want him out, most ex players want him out, i couldnt give a * what jackson or keevins think they are arseholes in anycase like every other sports writer/media pundit in this country, so if deila wont go he should be hunted, its time the support who actually attend the games made their feelings known, nice guy or not this guy is not up to task.

I don't think he's rotated the team enough really at times, to get fresh legs in and players that will be out to prove themselves (Allan & Nesbitt for example). We look fatigued and smaller teams will always get more fired up for a game than us especially when we are struggling and there's a possible title challenge.
Once we look to be doing good as well we don't keep it up for over a few games.

He did put on Richards which was good but as you say with the pitch and even the type of match doesn't suit Forrest, not as if he's going to get stuck in.

The fact he seems like a nice guy, shouldn't even come in to it. Hes clearly hopeless. We will get better, been hearing that from the start, we just keep getting worse. What are the board waiting for ?

I remember you asking whether we would take the defeat from Aberdeen if it meant getting rid of the imposter Deila.

Well we took the defeat and we still have not got rid of him. :55:

Is it going to take Ryan Jack holding up the SPL Cup to get shot of him ?

I agree with everything you say. It is scandalous that the Celtic board are treating the long suffering Celtic fans with such utter contempt and disdain.

We have had a petition to get rid of Deila before, and it didn't work..
I think we need to organise a demo at East Kilbride to get rid of him before we lose this league.

When push came to shove, on the night I wanted us to pump the sheep. He will go eventually, I just hope its not too late, i.e league lost.

The night St Mirren put Mowbray out of a job, I had the same feeling about Deila the other night . But it never happened. He can go on now and win the double, but unless that team show a level of consistency, skill and endeavour then he cannot be trusted in Europe. When he says the players were scared in Europe, he forgot that he is the leader so he must have been scared shitless and the rest is history.

Hello Jimmy,:icon_mrgreen: mate I have had the guy clocked as a dud from very early on, since the legia and Maribor shockers, when he played his crazy tactics, instead of playing it safe, the players were all over the shop. Now don't get me wrong, he swayed me a bit when we done ok against inter and I was that para about losing to the zombs, that when we beat them, that won him a lot of brownie points. However its clear hes an idealist dreamer, he mentioned being like Barcelona when he first came in the door, we should have known then the guy was iffy.

Good man. I must admit that I was wary of him before the first game after hearing a Norwegian journalist saying on a Celtic podcast that his plan B was to make plan A work along with his comments about rather go out of the CL than to win it like Chelsea. I did however give him a chance and could live and let live for Legia & Maribour. That October it occurred to me that he had no intentions of fixing the vulnerabilities in his system combined with him wanting to loan Griff to Hibs, and his treatment of Commons, I just knew we had a dud.

I agree it was probably a bit harsh to judge him as early as legia/Maribor, but for me a shrewd manager who knew their was a whopping £20 million at stake should have played it safe, knowing the players weren't used to his system etc. He sent them out, and of course the players ran around like headless chickens and we were oot. Its not got that much better. I blame lawwell and the board more than Ronny though. A total unknown offered the celtic job and a decent wage packet, he was never gonna knock it back.

So do I. Lennon left us with rock solid foundations that just needed tweaked and quality added. We should have backed Neil Lennon with the money he on his own earned the club. Backing him then would have seen us out of sight. Nobody listened at the time as we were bought with fancy talk about ajax, barcelona, porto models, philosophies and all the rest of it, to the point now that 10iar is now in real danger this season and if he's kept on long term i know for a fact we wont do it.

Exactly. Back to their academy and what people dont understand is that producing world class players cannot be done like a factory assembly line if the players you are working with are not good enough to begin with. Yes better coaching will make players better at possession football. But if you swapped our academy players for Inesta etc at that time when they broke through they still would have made it at us and our players would not have made it over there. Getting the right players in your academy is critical.

I wanted him out during last seasons Europa league, could see then that he was out his depth, if his game plan is not working within 20mins (basically score early) then the team look lost and don't know what to do.

Bang on. His strategy depends on steamrolling over our opponents early doors. In european football that's a special kind of stupid. Those games are more about a crafty game of chess, being smart, and being ruthless. For a man who is an ex pro and works in the game professionally it really is astounding that he doesn't know this.

Is jimmy and og1 in fact the same person?

I have always liked deila an believed what his plans are to be the right thing to do,but I do agree that mostly all of our big games we have failed in ,

So iam starting to sway onto wanting him replaced but the big question imo is replaced by who no decent continental manager will touch us tbh don't want lenny back or Roy Keane either

Why do people always think I'm someone else? Every poster who shows a bit of passion and is remotely critical of current policy is automatically Og1 posting from a duplicate account. Now that the wee gang of hyenas have slinked into their hole other posters are able to say something without being attacked from all angles for not towing the party line? Maybe that's it?

I was just reading that little exchange and thought of someone taking a sock, drawing a wee face on it and congratulating themselves with it like a ventriloquist every time they said something. :smiley-laughing002:

Anyway, og. I respect your and everyone else's opinion and I'll agree to disagree.
