No doubt we are going through a rough patch form wise right now and the backline in particular seems unsettled after losing/selling 3 of its 4 starters from last season. Delia has his work cut out for him heading into the second half of this season. I think like last season though we will come good in the second half of the season.

 

I don’t care how we win, only that we do. It is a difficult game and I think it is always very tough to play a team in a lower division in a cup competition, all the more so when it is away from home.
All that matters is that we win the game and get through the tie. No-one remembers a performance, only the result.


So if we scrape through, I don’t care. It is about making sure we win the game, that is all.
Some of it comes down to attitude and to preparation and we will treat them with respect, that is for sure. We are going to do everything that we can to be ready.
This is a cup final for Stranraer and it is up to us to be professional and ensure that our approach is the correct one

How the * is that embarrasing?

 

I said it's equally as encouraging as it is embarrassing. I like the fact that he is learning that there is no excuse for not getting it done but at the same time cop yourself on, its Stanraer for * sake. I'm glad he's not complacent but it's a wee bit cringy to hear our manager speak about sneaking a win at any cost against Stran * rar.

 

No, it's not. Lenny, WGS and MON have all had the exact same type of quotes. Not many managers like these games.

Don't see what's wrong with saying that, Stranraer will be play like their lives depend on it, it's their biggest game in recent history. These type of games are potential banana skins and any type of win will be a good one. Know one will remember at the end of the season if we beat Stranraer 6-0 or 1-0 with a 90th minute winner.

 

Hope everyone is showing Og1 the upmost respect.
