Definitely can you blame the guy for wanting to improve his career even if he gets sacked his CV will still be better than it was before coming here. It's a shame that they didn't let him have full control over the team and staff but he knew what he was signing up for, Lawell has to go if this ends in a failure

    * sake. Folk are talking about the manager as if he's already gone and that he doesn't pick his players, like they know that for an absolute fact.

Come on. Enough of this *. If things don't improve I will be adding my voice to the doubters, but we have to try and stay positive, at the very least not start talking about the man like he's already out the door. He's our manager.

He's the worst Celtic manager I have ever seen. His tactics are baffling and also the players he signs and plays. He's making Celtic worse and the quicker people like you realise this the better and maybe he can go and we can move forward.

28 mate, and I've never seen a worse Celtic manager. Playing 2 sitting midfielders at 1 upfront at home to Hamilton Accies should be enough for him to leave

    :smiley-laughing002: was just thinking that.

Also thanks for enlightening me, Smada. The sooner me and the rest of the wayward realise the error of our ways, the better...:bbpd:

Look at chelsea under a new regime, i honestly believe players have so
Much more to give but do not buy into ronnys way of thinking, when players put down the tools there is only one winner, are we really as bad as we are playing just now ???

I don't remember that much about Barnes, but Mowbray was considerably worse than Deila.
    It was bogging.

Aye I think there's two different prysms that Celtic are viewed through on here. Those that grew up in the O'Neill years, seen alot of success & top players & are therfore now impatient at our steps backwards from then & those of us who remember times prior to that when things were a lot more * & are a bit more appreciative of where we are at the minute.

Anyways, a 28 year old saying Ronny is worse than Barnes or Mowbray :97:

    Or Burns. :97::97::97:

I'm 26 so I saw most of the 90's although my memories of the early 90's are vague at best. But I can remember not winning anything (even though we won the Scottish cup on the day I was born) and I was overjoyed when we won the league with Wim Jansen. I completely agree that a lot of Celtic fans have unrealistically high expectations for the club.

Mate, I for one am certainly not blind to some of our recent performances. But I still believe in Ronnie and what he wants to do. We've got some really good youngsters coming through and players like Christie, who is brilliant. Ronnies building and it takes time.
Saying that, some recent performances have been baffling and disappointing to say the least. If that doesn't improve and we can't kick on from here, new year and all that, then I'll start doubting his ability to take us forward more seriously. I've got criticisms but still more belief in what he's trying to do, for now.

These managers had to compete with rangers. Deila has a free run at it. And we are still shocking.

Thing is though I'm only 20 yet I wouldn't say he is the worst Celtic manager in my lifetime.

Barnes probably has that accolade and the time under Mowbray which is still fresh in my memory was rotten.

Deila won a double in his first season and a last 32 of the Europa, narrowly going out to a decent Inter side. Things haven't gone 'swimmingly' this year to put it one way but I think what he has already achieved here puts him ahead of Mowbray and Barnes if we are talking the past 20 year at least.

People say that my generation are 'spoiled' etc but I regularly find on here that it's the younger guys who have more sense regarding alot of things:56:

So many folk saying that Them not being in the Prem should somehow make it even easier for us. Fact is the opposite is true. Not having a main rival, never mind you local, derby, around to be constantly breathing down your kneck, challenging you and keeping you on your toes is NOT a good thing. Despite what some folk on here think. It's horrible to say it but we have missed Them.
