Seen on Twitter that Dermot Desmond is apparently flying in to Glasgow tomorrow, I imagine it's a lot of *.

I've heard the plane's went off the radar, along with Craig Whyte's wealth.

    Usual source, not confirmed.

What if he won every game from now until the end of the season? What tact would you take, Ronny gone or Ronny stay? Obviously with you it would be the prior so your point is irrelevant. You have him marked as ' waste of space' regardless of results so stop trying to dress it up as anything else.

Who would / could we get? The realism for any manager coming to us is that he would be working under a board who have no plans to spend any type of money that would get us to the level we should be at. We are in a massive decline, at an alarming rate. I still think that we will win the league but i am running short of excuses for RD to be our manager. I think that he may not be here for much longer, but as i said, who would want to come here

Stubbs played for us and then in the Prem to a much higher level/standard than Delia. Understands clubs traditions/expectations.

Was on coaching staff at Everton before his venture into management. Exposure to Moyes methods etc.

Aye I think he comes from a far better Pedigree than RD, from his playing days through to coaching, exposed to a higher level of football.

But I'm agreement now that it maybe is a bit too early for him.

RD hasn't been outside of Norway till he got this job but yet people are making out the suggestion of Stubbs is somehow like being wired to a biscuit

Surely even managing Hibs is a bigger job than RD had at Stromsgodset?

Too early, if we don't get him soon he will be off to bigger and better things.

Both of those don't automatically make him an ideal candidate, it never should for any manager. It's just like the whole 'Celtic man' argument that people make, bit of a pet hate.

As I've said already I like the look of him but regardless of his background he is still less experienced than even Deila as a first team gaffer. It wouldn't make much sense, I'd rather if RD is to go, to bring someone with greater experience in. I think that's what we need right now.

As much as I don't think Ronny is the man for us, the Stubbs talk is * ridiculous.

The guy has done nothing in management. It would be out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Would you have suggested experience after Mowbray? We let Lenny have a go and proved to be the correct move. Stubbs even since of this start of this season (looking down and out if title race) let alone last has worked miracles.

    Like Lennon?

I agree that it's too soon but it's far from ridiculous.

    It's * ridiculous and that's it.

    Utterly * stupid.

I don't even want to debate it, it's mental.

I would hold winning the Norweigan title on a miniscule budget in far higher regard than managing Hibs in the second tier of Scottish football.

It's not exactly miracles, come on mate. He has by far and away the 2nd best if not the best squad in that league and one which is better than half of the teams in the SPL.

The fact they have managed some consistent form at long last is good and he deserves credit, but, no miracle.

When else would we be crying out for a guy who was doing well in the Scottish Championship? Unheard of.

I think the suggestion of him is even more confusing as the main reason I see for folk wanting Deila out is because he is too inexperienced and is out of his depth, particularly in Europe. Where does that differ from Stubbs? That's why I keep bringing up experience perhaps being needed at this point.

The situation is different too, Lennon had been in and around the club for a while at that point, was given his chance and luckily for him took it. Giving Stubbs a crack would be another big gamble at a time when we couldn't really afford to. Granted most appointments are but we should look to someone who is more proven, if RD is to go.
