No doubt but we have thirty games to go, including three games against them.

You can talk about us losing the three games against them and dropping points to other sides but it's completely hypothetical - I can just as easily turn it on its head and say we'll win all three games and Aberdeen will drop points against other sides.

Talking about sacking a manager for losing one league game just isn't sensible, frankly. It's literally hysterical.

I would say it is the opposite of hysterical. It is more cold and ruthless. This is business though not personal so I expect us to win these games. In fact I don't expect us to drop any points until we are comfortably clear.

It's not really. It's the cumulative effect of failing in three CL efforts in a row ( counting Maribor and Legia, now Malmo). Beating Dundee 6-0 or drawing with Ajax dozen't alter the facts.

If you're looking at it disinterestedly, we have dropped 4.4% of the total number of points available to us. Last season, we dropped 19.3% of the total number of points available to us and still won by seventeen points (Aberdeen dropped 34.2% of the total number of points available to them. If, after eight games, given that evidence, you come to the conclusion that we absolutely cannot drop a single point for the foreseeable future - again this season? - then you are, without doubt, hysterical. You're making a judgement based on the outcome of two games (Kilmarnock v Celtic, Aberdeen v Celtic) - that's just bad science, however you dress it up.

Aren't we talking about the threat of Aberdeen here? How does Derek McInnes' European record read?

I didnt say we cant afford to drop anymore points this season. I said that if he drops anymore points in the next ween of games he should be sacked. Until we make up this gap any failure should be treated as an inability to cope with genuine title race. We cant relay on having far superior players compared to the opposition to see us over the line in the end. There has to be consequences for failure even in the short term. All he has to do is keep winning with no slips ups for the foreseeable future. Simple as that. Otherwise see ya later.

You are clutching at straws there and at the same time trying to change the subject. We all know McInnes is operating on a low budget compared to us, and working wonders.

    Hows Deila's CL record ?

That's a good point btw. If Aberdeen win every single game this season we've no complaints.

To outdo Martin O'Neill's league record they must be something special.

    Doubt that'll happen though.
