And I was the grasser.... yea that makes just tons of sense.

Back to football, I'm thoroughly enjoying watching Florida stomp the * out of Tennessee right now. It's still in the 3rd quarter and the stadium is already emptying. :56:

Ahh, I can hear it... the death of a dynasty. The Chargers finally decided not to lose a game with 5 seconds left and beat the * out of the Favre led Jets... that was a sweet thing to see. Antonio Cromartie is 6'2" 200lbs of pure bad *. I wish our best athletes chose the world's football instead of America's football. :54:

Personally i think Tom Brady is the best Quarterback ever, Joe Montana and Dan Marino were great too.

But brady just takes it for me, 3 Superbowl Wins, 2 Superbowl MVP's, Most Touchdowns in one season, His TD-INT record is great, unlike Favre, who has thrown so many TD'S yet so many INT'S, the amount of errors TB makes is very small too.

I also rate Peyton Manning very highly, great Quarterback.

Tony Romo has to be the most overrated QB in the League today, how he is the QB for the Dallas Cowboys i will never know, the guy is shocking, T.O and Witten just save his * so many times it covers his mediocrity up.

Everything Brady accomplished will have an asterisk next to it due to NE cheating even if the NFL did ignore it (MLB and steroids in the 90's anyone).

Romos QB rating has been very close to Mannings the last 2 years and keeps going up. So far this year it is higher than what Manning had either of the last 2 years plus Manning has a horrible QB rating this year.

Thats with the Cowboys going 3-0 over 3 pretty good teams.

Favre has always been pretty average. He has had some good years but some bad years aswell. He used to be a good leader till he turned into a greedy d-bag.

He deserves it when the Jets get pumped this year.

    I don't know... the numbers don't lie. Here's just a few.

    - Won 3 Super Bowls (Joe has 4)
    - 2 Super Bowl MVPs (Joe has 3)
Joe has a few more MVPs, but they both share the distinction of being the only quarterbacks to win the MVP award and be voted Sport's Illustrated's Sportsman of the year. Brady, however, set a record with his team for most wins in a row, and they have virtually the same QB rating. (Brady is 92.9, Joe is 92.6)

He looks to me like he can lace Montana's boots. :50:

I still hate the *, though.

Lies, * lies and statistics. What the stats don't show is that the Pats teams which Brady has played with have been much more dominant in other areas than the 49er teams.

Montana dragged his team up by their bootlaces in countless matches with winning drives and late comebacks. The Pats have been running over teams.

I'm biased anyways, for me Montana is the ultimate QB.

Well no surprsie today the Raiders fired their latest lackey coach. This one had the termerity it seems to forget his job was contingent on kissing Al Davis's *. Another sad day for a once great team. Lane Kiffin may not have been a very good coach but it's Al davis who is 100% the reason the Raiders keep losing. Sadly not only did the meglomaniac not fire himself but he insisted he will continue on thus ensuring the Raiders will continue to lose for the forseeable future.

The NFL, with mostly NFC teams, formed in 1920. "The merger" happened in 1970 where teams from the AFL, which was competing with the NFL at the time joined the league (most teams are now in the AFC). So 1920 is the official start date, but the league as you know it started in 1970.

I've no been watching NFL long enough to remember a lot of classic plays, but surely DeSean Jackson vs the Cowboys is the most stupid play of all time ??

Actually it was Larry Allen, coincidentally of the Cowboys. But for the life of me I can't find the video. Let's just say that he cost them the game.

And hoopy, yes it was exactly like the merger between the ABA and NBA.

*edit* It was actually Leon Lett, but I still can't find a * video.

The commentary on the Thanksgiving one is priceless. It goes something like, "The Cowboys BLOCK THE KICK!! THEY WIN THE... oh wait... is that Leon Lett? What is he doing? Lett is running to the.. wait... he'* THE BALL! THE BALL IS IN THE INZONE AND THE DOLPHINS RECOVER!!! The DOLPHINS WIN THE GAME!! LEON LETT WHAT WERRRRE YOU THINKING!?!?!?"
