    http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/...ic-return-as-he-emerges-as-bookies-favourite/

Henrik Larsson says he’s open to a Celtic return following Neil Lennon’s departure as manager.
The Hoops legend is currently in charge of Swedish side Falkenbergs, having previously spent three years with Landskrona.
Larsson scored 242 goals in 315 games during seven seasons in Glasgow including two in the club’s UEFA Cup final defeat in Seville.
Bookmakers have already listed the former Sweden international as one of the favourites for the role.
Speaking to STV, Larsson said: "When I stopped playing football and went into management I knew the Celtic job was one that I would be linked with.
"I have and always will have a strong affection with the club. It’s not a question whether I’d be up for it. At the moment I’m only focusing on the job at Falkenberg."
Asked if he’d be interested in the job, the 42-year-old stated he was happy with his current team but added: "I can see myself back at Celtic, whether it’s now or in the future time will tell."
When asked if he’d held any talks over the position at Parkhead, he said: "Let me put it this way, I always have had good contact with the people at Celtic and I continue to have good contact with the club.’"
When pressed if anyone from the Scottish champions has spoken him about the position, Larsson replied: "That’s all I’m going to say, it’s up to you to work out if there’s been contact."
Lennon won five trophies during his time in the east end of Glasgow, winning three consecutive top flight titles as well as two Scottish Cups.
And Larsson believes his ex-teammate's success shouldn't be overlooked.
He said: "Neil has done a great job and his achievements shouldn't be overlooked just because Rangers haven't been in the league. Reaching the last 16 of the Champions League showed that he's a great up and coming manager."

  10. I want Moyes, but I suspect that the Board will go for the cheap and easy option in Larsson.

  11. Nah, resigned the next day.:smiley-laughing002:

  12. heard through a friends uncles nephew that the Tea lady at Clyde FC told him assistant manager Chic Charnley will be pur new manager? This poll is ("fill in with word of your choice") stupid!!! :31:

  14. Steve may anybody ?

  15. If it's Owen Coyle I want Peter Lawwell chased out of Celtic Park. I will actually be raging if Coyle gets the job.
