Like Lennon did ? Larsson has more managerial experience than Lennon did when he got the job.

Any of them would be better than Lennon

Not saying he should come, although Paul Hartley looks to be a fairly successful manager, leading Alloa to 2 successive promotions, also promoting Dundee to the premiership.

He'll be the next manager of the South side zombie.

Malky would be my first choice. Although he might be a handful for the Celtic board. Larsson is a populist foolish choice. The great players just don't make good managers.

I'd take Moyes for his experience and he will be looking to rehabilitate his reputation. He did a cracking job in the CL with Man Utd despite such a poor season domestically so with a crack at Europe I think he'd come here without too much trouble.

Jackie wouldn't bother me either as he plays some good football at Dundee Utd but think he is perhaps a little too tactically naïve for Europe. Clarke is perhaps the outside bet but a shrewd manager and I was impressed by what he managed with that West Brom side.

Too early for Henrik I feel as he has struggled somewhat in Sweden and I couldn't bear him failing here!

Why would we want Moyes, We are in the Champions league and he was just sacked from a middle of the table English team

You think he's going to resign as Real Madrid assistant manager to come manage us? :smiley-laughing002:

Sure. Lennon was, however, a big gamble, which did pay off thankfully - he has proved himself well. After Mowbray, having someone with a bit of gusto and passion was excellent.

My point being that there is absolutely no guarentee of any success with former players being appointed, and that they shouldn't really be treated preferentially.

Henrik will be our next manager, but I'd rather have Moyes with Larsson as part of the backroom staff.
