Just a bif of light hearted banter before tonights game.

    What is your favourite beer?

Personally I like Miller. Bit of a girly beer but it's nice and refreshing.

I probably missed a few of the important ones, didn't do much research.

    Heineken.

I'm amazed people say Bud and Miller. They are so tasteless and weak.

If we are talking lager, I like Stella cause its a bit sweeter than some beers. I like Cobra and the sweet Spanish lager for the same reason. Staropramen and Worsteiner are good too and I like Okocim the Polish lager. I hate lagers that have that turnipy taste like Becks etc. I usually vary between Guinness or Stella depending on the weather and how much I am drinking. You can get both in nearly any pub. Guinness used to be crap outside southern Ireland but its good almost anywhere now. I started of drinking Youngers Tartan Special but I didnt know any better.

are we all agreed that tennants, youngers, harp, mcewens and basically all the main British and Irish lagers are pish? The older TC members probably remember when the ones I just listed were the only ones available on draft at most pubs. Thank * for imported lager.

Agreed. Its the same with wine, everybody automatically seems to drink australian or new zealand or chilean stuff when they are no cheaper than the original French wines they are copying. Buy EU stuff:50:
