He hasn't had a good season at all and he's been especially poor in the last two games (although he was probably just trying too hard).

It's a bit like Sammy leaving. I'm sad to see him go but our play had become far too reliant on one individual. Maybe Deila can mould a team now.

If he does go we'll just bring in McKay-Stevens early.

Probably the same as Commons would go for so we'll break even :50:

Last season we were reliant on him and he delivered, but players get older and move on. It happens. The break in the first half, where he could have knocked it in to Johansen but he stalled on it and let the Hamilton defence get back in numbers summed Commons up for me this season. Unless he gets it into his feet and has time to pass or more often shoot, then he dithers and slows everything down. We either change the system to fit in Commons or he isn't a first pick in the team.

If he moves on, then best of luck to him and he was amazing in his first/third seasons. The annoying thing for me is the media using him as the stick to beat Deila with.

If that was his last game, thanks Kris but we go forward from here.

He was Man of the Match against Kilmarnock and he was alright today * sake.

  11. People seem to be under the illusion that we are "letting him leave" which isnt the case. We want him to re-sign and have offered him a contract based on what we think represents good value to both parties.

Kris Commons disagrees and that's his prerogative.

I hope we can find a way to resolve but, if not, I wish him nothing but the best. Great player for us.

He played as an individual in both games - I don't think that's up for debate. He shot every time he had the ball, even when his team mates were in better position, and more often than not, the shots were off target (particularly today).

As I said, maybe he was just trying too hard because he knew he was going.

he's been offered a one year deal, if he wants to stay he will sign it, if he does well we will offer another year at the end. simple as that. dont see the problem with it

Ronny just said Commons needs new boots and it will be expensive for him if he keeps giving them away to the crowd

We are letting him leave. He would be here in a second if we gave him the two year deal, we aren't offering him that so we are letting him leave.

Nah, not having that, the amount of times he played in Matthews both games and dragged players away so there was space to move into was insane. Imasked you the other day to name three times he done that at Kilmarnock and you never did get back to me, it's because it's not true,

Gutted if this is true. I can see why he wants a 2 year deal, just wish he would accept a 1 year deal but I think he knows RD is not going to use him and the likely hood of getting another year is slim then.

I like Commons and he has been an important player for us. That said I agree that he should not be offered a two year deal as I don't believe he has two years left in him for us.
