I don't see the point? He's not going to get any better and we will win the League anyway. Need to try and improve the team, not make it worse.

We are not scoring enough goals to guarantee that we will win the league. Give him games and we will start scoring again and win the league.

And keeping Commons is making us worse? He's a good player and deserves to play. Worth a new deal imo and possibly into coaching.

You don't see the point in playing him? I don't see the point in keeping our best goalscorer out of the team.

He's not going to decline anytime soon, he's only 31. He's never had pace so his game won't really suffer as he gets older. Not sure how the team will benefit with him sat on the bench.

If anything he looked like he's gained a little pace going by the killie game.
But still, even if he can maintain a good level of fitness he's a great player to have in your squad and really should be playing more this season

The domestic cups are far from a formality anyway

Since when did 30 become old... Didn't it use to be players 35+ where coming to the end. Now suddenly he's 31 and old? Its only "old" if that player relies on pace. Give him a 3 year deal.

Overall I like Ronny Deila but there are certain things that really infuriate me about him. Playing the likes of Callum McGregor instead of Kris Commons is one of those things. Stop * about and get the man signed up, this shouldn't even be up for debate, he's one of our best players and a proven match winner.

If any other player hits as many shots as him then laws if average they would be our top scorer.

    I would sell tbh

Aye, Larsson was old and past it when he scored 54 goals for us in a season.

Not really. I'm sure if efe ambrose for instance, took 50 shots a game he'd struggle to get 1 goal. Commons is the best striker of the ball in the team.

Larsson was also good enough to move on and play for Barcelona and Man Utd. I don't see Commons moving to either if I'm honest :smiley-laughing002:

Wasn't a direct comparison, it's people dismissing folk because of there ages.

Larsson's best years was in his 30's with us, Lubo was * 33 and we signed Neil Lennon at 29.

My 3 favourite ever Celtic players that. If you're good enough age doesn't matter.
