Everyone was willing to give the guy a chance and wanted him to do well.

He's no one to blame but himself if the support turn on him.

Was right behind the goals today, when he came round warming up, couple of fans held up an antifa flag in front of him, didn't take to kindly to this and told them to * OFF, lost all respect for him, the day you disrespect the fans time for you to GTF

I've already said to you that it doesn't matter who his celebration was aimed at, it's the symbolism of it. * the world! Not, I feel like an idiot for what I done. That action speaks volumes to me.

Go look through my posts, go see the many posts I said I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Until then don;t put * words in my mouth.

I think he's talented but thick as mince, and I want action taken against him (not necessarily seeing him sacked, but at least something) for being stupid and (whether it was his intention or not) a racist (on more than once occasion). Not because of any pre-existing grudge against Griffiths. I think that you're just trying to draw a reaction with that post, as Sean has posted on numerous occasions that he'd support him as a Celtic player.

I'm shocked the club has kept quiet on this. It's like it's being completely ignored.

I like him and dont mind him winding people up and being a "character", tbh I wish there were more like him, basically average guys off the street playing.

I dont like the culture of outcries, drama, moaning and grassing thats taking over football in Scotland with us grassing them, them grassing us, people getting the jail for singing songs and all that.

Enjoy the football, get it up each other and thats that.

If people are assaulting each other or being real racists, let the polis deal with them. If they're singing songs as wind ups, dont over dramatize it to act like we're the good guys and other mobs are the bad guys.

You said it was aimed at all the Celtic fans. Don't think that is true, also you said he seems to be the kinda guy that blames everyone else for everything, have seen no evidence of that at all. The guy appears to be a total * and I'd rather he wasn't at our club, but really think your just making half of the accusations about him up.

Got to say I thought it was a strange celebration for a man who was seeking redemption and spoke of contrition yesterday.

I said it was "* yees, all of yees" meaning everyone who has wronged him.

Whether he feels like that includes the Celtic support only he knows.

His celebration was not what I was expecting though.

if that was me who scored that goal i would have went straight to Neil Lennon, the man who just backed me days before.

I would then have made some kind of thankful gesture to the Celtic support for sticking by me.

Your wee story stinks of bullshit and I know a good few myself included that were there today and certainly cannot remember that and that is certainly something you would remember! If we all missed it then I am happy to stand corrected.

In any case so what if he told them to * off for shoving their 2 bob politics down folks faces, Griffiths might have thought like me and many others that Antifa is a heap of pish, surely he has that right?....and this coming from someone who said he should never have been signed in the first place so I'm hardly the Leigh Griffiths Fan Club.

What sort of gesture would that be Sean? Not being funny, but would a rather subdued celebration be more in order as opposed to thinking he had the backing of every fan - which he clearly hasn't. The way its going I think some sort of grateful gesture would have some fans accusing him of being oblivious/arrogant. Maybe in this case less is better.

Aye and that's one of the worst parts of it, we've all dreamed of playing for Celtic. We can accept a player trying but just not being good enough, but to be given the chance and to ruin it for yourself is hard to comprehend.

The guy is thick as * and really doesn't know how good he's got it. Between celebrations and off the field drama he really is setting himself up for failure.

The '* it' attitude he clearly has, has no place at celtic park and if he keeps it up I'll be happy when he's sent packing.

Folk on here have been doing that since the minute he walked in the door, there is an agenda out there good and proper and if Griffiths scored in every game between now and 2020 a minority will still be sticking by their guns,

By give a chance I mean give him time to screw the nut, not jump on his back at the first mistake and overanlyse his celebrations etc.

Anthony Stokes has done some daft * yet people on here stick by him. He has fined numerous times by the club. No one wants him sacked.

Being real racists? Casual racism is acceptable then? * it, stick a smiley face at the end of it and it's fine.
