    * if I know what he meant by his gesture. If it was insulting the fans, he's a moron.

I've done plenty of stupid things.

I've never discriminated against anyone though. I feel quite strongly about it, is that alright? because according to a lot of Celtic fans I'm a constantly offended handwringing PC brigade member for not tolerating racism/sectarianism/bigotry.

it was as if the fans had something to prove to him, and he was like well what you got to say about that, found it really strange, and i liked it him aswell, but i can see him losing support now, and its all by his own doing crazy

I said the same as soon as I saw the video last week. I thought it would take longer than a week though.

I have no doubt what his celebration was about.

I think any discussion on Griffiths has to be split between how he plays and who he is.

I voted "unsure" on how we should deal with griffiths but suspected this was coming.

Anyone got a link to the goals today? How was Griffiths received after when he first came on?

    Aye that was me, he's a * *.

Been in the door two minutes and thinks he can cup his ears to the fans.

Seems like he thinks he's been hard done by and done nothing wrong.

I posted this in the match thread but it's probably better in here.

My take on why the song Griffiths sung is racism.

    -------------------------

Eastern Europeans are being discriminated against daily. They are being herded into slums, abused verbally every day and physically on occasion. They are fighting a real uphill battle to be accepted on these islands.

From "these poles are stealing our jobs", to "* romanian gypsies, canny trust them", to outright assault against families just trying to piece their lives together.

If anyone cant see that this is the modern day racism then I don't really know what to say.

    ------------------

Songs like the one the Hibs fans and Griffiths sing only serve to legitimise more serious aspects of this racism. Trivialise it enough and all of a sudden the headbangers that want to cause damage don't feel so bad because everybody else is slagging the sponging *.

The song itself might be not much in the grand scheme of things, but it's what that blasé attitude can lead to is the main problem.

Wasn't at the game and nothing untoward crossed my mind when he cupped his ear after scoring. Was to busy roaring what I thought would be the winner :54:Having read the posts across a few Celtic forums it appears that people read more into it. If you lose the fans yer * and he was already on very thin ice. Thought he'd come through the events of the other week but seems more are jumping on the anti Griffiths band wagon. Think Celtic will try and move him on. He was always an accident waiting to happen but didn't think it would happen so quickly. Still don't really think his actions today were a dig at our fans, but like I say wasn't there so wasn't privy to what went on before it. If he's * it up he's a bigger * than I thought, we all dream of playing for Celtic, this guy got that chance and could have been a success but looks like he's made an * of it.

I see what your getting at mate, There always seems to be snide remarks aimed at the foreign workers over here.

I don't get the whole "Polish are stealing our jobs" thing, They work for the same rate, And are spending the majority if not all the money in this country so what's the big deal? If a foreign person beats you to a job it's because they are better suited right?

What i think makes this whole scenario worse is that nothing has been said by Griffiths or Celtic about it really. He hasn't as much as said i didn't sing it or i was full of drink and acted inappropriately.

If he did that then i'm sure he'd be seen in a bit better light than what he is now.

Even if it wasn't directed at our support, the fact is the gesture was one of "Whit ye saying noo eh?" when I would have expected a bit of humilty from him.

I'll be honest, I've gave him my full support as I think he's just a dafty with no real malice, easily lead.

The goal celebration had me doing this :97:

What the * are you doing son?

You've been given a chance at one of the biggest club's in world football and it's obviously in your heid to offer your first celebration to those who doubt you.

Get a grip and realise what it is to wear that jersey before you regret it.

I don't think there was anything in his celebration. Players do it all the time.
What i wasn't happy with was after the game, he was going daft at Izzy for losing the last goal. In my book that's not on.

He's a * newcomer to this team and i think he's marching about like some kind of super ticket, which is a real shame because he's a cracking player, just not the kinda guy you'd want to spend more than ten minutes around.

Typical kinda 90 minute hardman. Izzy's an absolute stalwart in this side and he should be showing a bit more respect, but then again Izzy's from Honduras.

He had a real chance to subdue his celebration and ingratiate himself with the support by making a 'sorry' gesture or a 'thanks', something like that.

He went for the I just scored get it right round yees, all of yees angle. Seems like the type who blames everycunt else for his shortcomings.

I doubt he will ever change.

    I'm swaying towards this now.

On a day where actions could have said a thousand words, his left many in doubt.

What better opportunity than a goal celebration. He failed miserably.

Do you really think he was saying up yeez to all the Celtic fans? Also don't think he's blamed anyone for anything.

He's in the wrong but think you are over egging it a bit.

Do you want him to change ? Be honest. You want him out the door. You didn't even want him in it to begin with. It's quite * writing a person off like you have.
