How Do You Think The Club Should Deal With Leigh Griffiths?

What is funny about that exactly ? Fans have a right to say what they want aye but banners saying a player is of no value to the club ?

7 goals in 11 appearnces ? No value ? Geez peace.

 

Fans pretty much to a man backed Griffiths today.

It was a great display primarily because it was both poignant and subtle despite everyone knowing who it was intended for. Not heard the quote in a while and reminded me to be proud in thinking that our club had people with such beliefs from the early days of our existence. Don't think anyone in that stadium today could've had a problem with that message and if they did then they probably need think about why they're there. People maybe would've had an issue if there was a banner that said '* off Leigh' yes, but not that today.

Also had the 'refugees welcome' icon across the club crest. One of their best in my opinion.

I really do hope he takes it in, He most definitely has the talent.

Its funny because its a * ridiculous statement. You're basically saying fans shouldnt have an opinion on players..........

And....erm.....someone who's reputation/actions may be doing harm to the club may very well be OF NO value to the club.

 

He took a corner at the Lisbon Lions fans around me stood and applauded him, one booed. When he scored he didn't know how to react but fans stood and cheered him, there was also the scenes at the end that I talked about. Realise I had posted 2 or 3 times about it but tbh some of the posts about the guy have been ott, bordering on hysteria.

Think even the GB banner was drawing attention to what was expected of a Celtic player, rather than hinting that Griffiths should be booted. He was wrong badly wrong but feel the fans are willing to give him a last chance

 

Maybe there is truth in that though?

I'm not going to get on Leigh's back about what he has be accused of doing, however if this type of questionable behavior where to continue and we are having to constantly fine a player or ban them etc... what is point of having them around despite what they do on the pitch?

In no walk of life should we condone a person's questionable and bad behavior and say "ah your fine son your brilliant on the pitch, aslong as you keep that up you can be a * off the pitch all you want".

No other job would condone it so just because someone happens to be a good player of football should they be an exception to it.
