Swastikas and confederate flags, how do these 'people' even manage to stand on their hind legs. Does the 21st century really scare them that much :54:

Aye forgot about that as well, although the Israeli flag is probably because we have the Palestinian flag. Some * should start taking the South Korean Flag and give it a couple of weeks and see :smiley-laughing002:

"We" don't have the Palestinian flag. Only certain supporters. There are other Celtic fans who support Israel. I have met them.

There were people who had South Korean and Japanese flags for Cha and Nakamura.

That is when they started the "Cha/Naka ate my dog" signs. I don't think any of them would fly the North Korean flag... :smiley-laughing002:

Do you really 'support Israel' though?

I don't want to drag this off-topic but I find it hard to believe that anyone with a conscience could. It's one year since the so-called war in Gaza started (it wasn't a war it was a massacre).2,200 people murdered. The flag in your sig is out of place on a Celtic forum- it represents racism, colonialism and oppression.

Jorge doesn't know who he supports. He's probably only one Scottish Tim on holiday bumping into him and calling him a plastic Celtic supporter away from turning his back on us and supporting an American team instead. :smiley-laughing002:

You really have no clue what you are talking about. First, the main cause of civilian deaths were the use of human shields by Hamas. Second, the number of civilian deaths were intentionally skewed by Hamas and other terrorist organisations, because numbers are, of course, propaganda. Israel absolutely has the right to defend themselves against terrorist organisations and rocket attacks. The Israeli flag represents racism, colonialism, and oppression? You are so warped by their propaganda it is insane. I'll tell you what racism and hatred. Racism and hatred is the way how Palestinians paraded and partied in the streets the day 9/11 happened (in fact a poll conducted later showed that 65% of Palestinians supported the attacks). Racism and hatred is the way the vast majority of Arabs all over the middle east not only hate Israel, but also the Jewish people, and even go as far as to deny the holocaust ever existed. I support Israel and the Jewish people to the absolute hilt. They have every right to exist. Every right.

Most American fans do support an American team as their first team. Its pretty hard to go a year without watching some live "soccer", I'm sure you're aware. Actually I did have a guy tell me that it was impossible for me to be a Celtic fan. I was watching Celtic play Philadelphia Union back in 2010. Some fat * took me aside and said "listen fella, see those guys out there, the Americans? They're the ones you need to sing for. An American cannot be a Celtic fan. So go buy yourself a Philadelphia shirt in the shop". I laughed at him, of course. When I went to get myself a beer I asked a Irish girl if she'd seen Neil Lennon, and she said to me something like "You'll find him, he has red hair, he's not hard to find at all. I guess you've never seen Celtic before right?" I laughed at her, too.

Drop the whole Palestinian Israeli debate and stay on topic.

If you want to debate Palestine or Israel use the HPR section.

Actually, it did, not that it matters too much, except for comedic value. I asked the guy why Americans can't be real Celtic fans, and he said it was because he has been a Celtic fan since he was a boy, and been to every home and away game for as long as he could remember. He said Americans aren't there to back the team. :56: It didn't really bother me. One drunk or guy on holiday isn't going to make me stop following a team I've followed for the last 20 years.

That's crazy a Celtic fan would say such a thing. I've ran into a bunch here in DC and they have no issues at all and always want to know how you discovered the club. Seriously I've never heard of a Celtic fan being anti global support unlike the people in the south who freak the * out if an yank supports an EPL club.
