    Haha that's what I was thinking as well. Those things * hurt if they hit you in the leg on a cold day. You ended up with dimple marks in your leg for hours.

    Really disappointed with the top, hate the collar but like the black socks. Won't buy the new top but will prob buy the socks to go with old strip.

    This is very true about the marketing, Nike only deal with the best clubs. Nike football tops are better than adidas - grass is always greener on the other side, teams who have them want nike... I own adidas tops and they are'nt all they seem, They cling to you shoulders and around you arms restricting movement, they are tight but not in a good way, and make you look smaller and scrawny. When you wear a Nike shirt it just feels so much better. I like the new hoops, retro, Can't wait to get them.

    It's a throwback, retro and it's cool to be retro just now. I even like the Tennent's logo, it will grow on people.

    Not quite sure if I like this kit or hate it. If available in * sizes without the silly lob sided sponsor, I presume a large section of our support will be on the lookout for it. I know its an anniversary kit to celebrate our 125th birthday so maybe I can excuse the somewhat dodgy black socks as they're a throwback to our original Hoops kit. Thing is though this is 125 years of CELTIC and not the hoops kit, so If were really going for a throwback to celebrate our founding, we really should be going with a green & white VERTICAL stripped jersey!!
    Our 100 years of the Hoops kit was back in 2004, so why no black socks then?

    While it's nice to bring back in some previous features of our past kits, It can go too far sometimes. For me the four standout key elements to a Celtic kit should be

    Green & White Hoops (Obviously)
    4 leaved clover Crest
    White Togs
    White or Green & White hooped socks

    Our history will show we started out with green & white vertical stripes, but thankfully we haven't gone down that route again, The black sock should be kept for away kits or as an alternative in Europe if we have to play another team with with white socks. That way we could wear the Hoops allot more in our European away games.
