Save Wee Gordon Strachan!

This year is his big test in the spl , he has done a good job so far but a stronger rangers this year will make it hard. One thing i like is that we look like we can score from anywhere on the park the atackin edge we hav in the midfield could win it for us

 

At least he has a bit of bottle, and he's winning trophies

Football looks to be improving a bit without that fat * lennon holding us up in midfield.

Cant ask for much more i wouldnt say.

 

So far so good as far as Strachan is concerned for the results (over the 2 and a bit seasons) but does he hold the fans in contempt? I am beginning to think he might

 

He's doing well, we need to be ahead of gers soon though...and take out spartak which shouldnt be a problem

Martin, Gravesen was never that good, there is nothing wrong with him. Everton got him in his peak years, simple as. Madrid bought him whilst in the biggest crisis of their clubs history says it all We thought we were buying a decent player and even then he's still playing crap, not listening and playing more crap.

and Riordan has expressed a need to move club, so he isnt showing commitment to the club and his head isnt right at the moment. If he shut up and just focussed on winning a place, he'd be ahead now.

 

If Strachan was manager of Rangers you'd all be slaughtering him for his antics. Absolute certainty.

Every question I've listed is reasonable and I'd be very surprised if you, stupid, hadn't taken part in threads asking them.

It's stupid to ask why we have played * football for 6 months ?

 

Why did Strachan spend money and big wages on him then ?

Riordan wants to go because of what has happened to him at the club, i.e. how he has been treated.

 

Such treachery Border Bhoy. WGS loves the club and loves the fans.

 

The fact is some Celtic fans just arent going to like The Wee Man, we cant change that . But by giving him our upmost support and silencing the critics we are showing him that some of the faithful back him

 

Because he wanted to sign him, I suspect.

Spent one season marginalised, he should get a grip on himself, stop moaning and eying moves elsewhere if he wants to make it at Celtic, I suspect he would take the easy way out to get back to first team football whatever the level its at. Poor attitude.

 

His level is good enough for Celtic. You don't know what Riordan's attitude is. To me it's looked quite good - he plays rarely and when he does he seems to score. I like that attitude.

 

Obviously his past level would have been good enough but currently "his level" is nowhere near the level expected and especially of a player earning that much at Celtic.

I've a fair idea from his comments to the media and his agents actions behind the scenes suggest his attitude isn't 100% to Celtic at the moment. I'm not talking about his finishing ability.

I'd recommend he take a leaf out of Ole Gunnar Solkjaer's book on this one.

 

And spend his entire career as a bench warmer? Much as i admire Solkjaer's ability as a striker i always thought the lad lacked ambition by not moving on to get first team football. A year or two playing regularly for a 'lesser' EP team and scoring goals would have furthered his career. He seemed satisfied to sit on the bench season after season at Man U. Wanmadtim

 

Solskjaer averaged more thqan 30 odd games a season when fit with Man u and won many trophies. Not sure how he would've furthered his career going to a lesser team.

 

Exactly, didnt he score a goal in that UCL final?

The man is referred to more than a mere bench warmer by united fans, not just because of that goal either.

 

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was a very good player who was well recognised by people all over the world and loved by Man U fans. He played in Premirship, Champions league and also for Norway and won many medals with Man u ...as a player what more can you ask for...to play for one of the biggest teams in the world, play for ur country, score winner in CL final, anyone would be satisfied with these achievements!

 

Yet again you make posts which you cannot know are true. Tell us what has happened between WGS and Riordan ?

Clearly you blame Riordan.

 

His agent is touting clubs on his behalf. ITS IN THE MEDIA, THATS HOW I KNOW.

 

And why did his agent start doing that ?

Sometimes his tactics are dodgy but am happy with WGS!!!
