Always looking for the wee digs eh? always hovering about after a defeat.

And yet it's people like me who get a warning when I react.

Well let me rephrase that then, since you're being such a pedantic * of a poster......I couldn't give a * about the huns or QUESTIONS THAT INVOLVE THEIR MENTIONING....better? Our remit is not to question what teams are in the league, it's to beat the teams that are actually our competitors for the title. Simples......

Who says you "need" to be proud? Obviously some of you are embarrassed or whatever about having to play teams that we are drawn against. Carry on......

Like it or lump it, Lenny was given a power of money to spend in the Summer to build a Champions League team. What he actually built was massive competition for 3 spaces up front.

It wasn't necessary at all and i tried to make the point in the Summer that there were bargains to get because we needed lots of players for lots of positions.

It didn't * resonate with anybody, because they get caught up in who's good enough and who's *. The good enough players were unattainable.

    Or were they.

Lenny was going by the assumption that everyone would stay and their wouldn't be a mass exodus to the Premier league.

But if you looked at it, their were key players on there way out and a whole bunch who's contracts were running out the year after.

So for that, you can blame the people in charge of scouting, negotiating contracts and the manager himself.

But even after another transfer window, the real problems lie in midfield. In the Summer they will lie in both midfield and defense and for those kind of signings, i have a lot of confidence that that is a strong area of expertise we already have with the backroom staff we have.

But he's gonna have to get the players to offer up the flexibility of being able to rotate a squad, so you have freshness in the Champions' League and a team who can beat Morton. For injuries and suspensions.

There are a lot of smart arses on here, that thought we wouldn't have suspensions or injuries, but Lenny should know now, you have to be ready for any eventuality.

The mix between having to accept going a bit more defensive in Europe, and then being able to play as many up front as you like in the league, and a right physical team for these scrappy cup games, when all of a sudden teams are right up for a fight, you need to match that, but at the same time be flexible to change it.

The signing policy changed in the Summer and it had me a bit worried. Turned out i was right to be. When the players who could handle the league and cup games weren't signed, when we went for players from the continent and bought nobody from the leagues we'd got good players from in the past. When we didn't go looking for quality players at ridiculously cheap prices to be able to rotate.

It all ended up in a season that promised so much but delivered only another round of qualifiers. And the team who were apparently never coming back on route to have a party at our place, which is the hardest thing to take.

No old firm game. I think really that's what everyone secretly wanted and that's the main thing that's got people so *.

I just thought there was no vision of a team based on who was going out and how that team might look as a team. And obviously the daft things, like Watt and Balde being split up before they had a chance to gel.

He has sacrificed his general well-being for the club, I agree. But he has still stabbed supporters in the back with comments and digs at certain sections.

What no pictures??? There have been very little positives for me, I asked you to name some and you failed instead you resorted to posting pictures like a big baby... I think I am the same as any other Celtic fan, that is entitled to an opinion...

    I'm aware of that.

I voted yes in the poll but I'm not completely against Lennon staying. We had a brilliant season last year winning the double plus CL last 16. If he could repeat or come close to that next season I'd be delighted.

I don't expect us to go unbeaten all season but to be out both cups before the 1/4 final stage, especially when we're runaway league leaders and can rotate at will, is unacceptable for Celtic

Pedantic *? Says the guy who tried to be pedantic by saying "aye, you did ask a question about them"? then got owned? Good one.

I'm not embarrassed to play these teams either. I just think beating them is expected. Why is that so hard to grasp? When we beat Barcelona I was proud as *. When we beat St Mirren I'm not.

Genuine question here; see if we beat St Johnstone on Sunday will you be "proud"? All seriousness btw...

Not commented on the thread yet but I think it is typical of the dynamic of this argument that "the pro Lennon brigade" comment is what you focused on when quoting that poster and replied in that manner.

Reading back on this thread, terms like "anti-Lennon brigade" have been used in a fashion that is marginalizing anyone who doesn't rate him and seems to suggest that real supporters rate Lennon regardless and those who don't rate him are only the online crowd or somewhat lesser fans.

Maybe i'm wrong, but that is just the impression I get from any thread relating to Lennon.

Everyone wants whats best for the club - some feel that is best achieved with Lennon and some without.

I feel that cruising a back water-league with no competition doesn't hide the fact we are regressing and that Lennon is so much of a cult figure it is seen as hunnish to speak ill of him. Those who don't rate him , "don't get it".

Celtic legend, great servant of the club but is limited and is taken us as far as he can as a manager.

How could I have failed when I never tried in the first place?

Ah right, so every Celtic fan is entitled to an opinion, yet when I give mine I am labelled as someone who thinks they are a better supporter than everyone else?

    Great logic there chief :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::50:

You say you want attacking football. We scored 15 goals in 4 games, we beat Hearts 7-0 Motherwell 5-0, St Mirren 4-0, Hibs 4-0. Some of the best football i have seen us play. Yet you want to bring Strachan back who was renowned for his turgid brand of football. Doesn't make sense to me, but you are entitled to your opinion same as Neil Lennon is.

I disagree with what he said, but he has sacrificed his well being for the club, so for me he can say what he wants. Ill still back him, turning our back on someone who has went through what he has just because we disagree with what he said? nah not for me.

Nah I'll back him so long as he is manager and won't turn my back on him. I do think perhaps we are in need of a change of management, however. For footballing reasons :50:

Maybe I don't want him to go...he'd take John Park with him!

What do you expect when some posters are insulting others when they don't agree with them or just seem to post pictures in terrible trolling attempts. Padmill for example, sad really.

You ought to be more embarrassed about how you come across (an immature wee *) rather than me not being proud to beat St. Mirren :56:

Big clubs have big expectations. St. Mirren fans can be proud when their * team flukes a win against us. I'm not proud when do it to them.

Edit: Any chance you could actually answer a question btw? * *.
