Ridiculous thread. Of course it's a knee * reaction. We've had one bad result. No, he shouldn't go.

It's seems to be the games that matter especially cup games like today, St Mirren, Killie, Morton, Ross County.....

I'll give him next season before I make that decision. If we don't either do the treble or get at least third place in our CL group, then Lennon's position as manager of Celtic should be under consideration.

Our record in the Cup is 2 wins in 4 seasons in charge for Lennon. Wish it was more but if you were to offer me winning the cup on average once every 2 years and winning the league every year yep I am ok with that. The Champions League is clearly not something we have the resouce basis to mount a realistic challenge to win.

It's been one recently. We've been on a fantastic run in the league, club record for consecutive clean sheets, unbeaten in the league and the performances have actually been good, rather than the traditional huff and puff and scrape a 1-0 against a team with 11 men behind the ball. We look a really good team this season, not just a team who will win the title by default, and that's down to Lenny. A Scottish cup defeat against a very good Aberdeen side does not negate all that.

I love Neil Lennon, I want him to stay, but..... he really needs to start developing our youth better than he is currently.

I honestly can't see Watt, McGeouch, McGregor or any young prospects breaking through and getting regular game time while he's in charge. It seems to me like he'd rather splash on a foreign name than try one of youngsters.

We see a lot of SPFL teams bringing through some cracking youth players right now and It makes me wonder how good our guys can be. If gauld etc are ready for SPFL I'm sure we must have a couple of guys in our youth ready to play.

We've had a good league run but teams never go for it against us in the league. In the cups & champions league when teams have no option but to attack it's been awful.

While i voted no i don't agree with the mantra you won't know what you have lost when he's gone.

I don't think Lenny going, (if he does go), will be a massive loss, he is a poor tactician, this is evident in his team selections, his substitutions and in general the style of play.

He however wants the best for the club, he is a fan like the rest of us, every cup loss though for me reduces my support for him. He made multiple mistakes before the match and during the match.

2 in midfield with 2 wingers does not work, its quite simple, it is not effective anymore, it cost strachan his job. In addition the starters like matthews and Sammy were mistakes.

Put Biton in for Sammy, Fisher in for Matthews and i am certain we come out with a different result today. It was obvious how we should line up but Lennon sometimes thinks he is creating some kind of masterplan by switching things up and it comes back to bite us on the * in cups 3 times out of 4.

So what will it take for some people to see that Lennon is not a good 'Big game manager'?

What if that game against Aberdeen today was a CL qualifier? Would you still think he's the man to take us forward? Would it be a knee * reaction if we lost a CL qualifier and more people wanted him to leave?

No while we were far from brilliant in both those ties we did deserve to win both ties overall. We did not do much away against Elifborg but they didn't do much themselves and we were the better team at Celtic Park. Againast Karagandy while we played poorly it is not like they were all over us like we were all over them in the return game at Celtic Park. We got through both ties because over the 2 legs we did enough to win overall. Not by much but we did do enough.

Yes but after the abuse he has gotten since taking over, you can bet they will be happy to move away from Glasgow

I will agree with that. That would be my biggest complaint about today. Samaras should not be on the field again unless he is signing a new contract and should not have started today.

In the Elfsborg away game i was biting my nails...we made a cows * of the qualifiers I'd say

Karagandy were the easiest team we could've got...* only knows what would've happened if we got Legia Warsaw or Austria Vienna
