We dont really have any cover for him. Which imo is another feather in his cap. I agree with most of what you're saying but Izzy has been really good this season.

That's completely different, people with no experience of being a manager have been managed themselves for 10, 15 years and usually by a quality manager at some point. There is only one man who has worked very hard from the bottom and learnt his trade without being a football and gone on to be very successful, Mourinho. But he shadowed people and studied for years.

He looked at strikers costing more that 800k they did not want to play for us.
A manager saying to his players go out there and have some fun does not mean he don't give a *,its a attempt to lighten the pressure.
Having fun in the CL would be scoring goals and winning games.....so yes have some fun.
As for the GB i think lennon has given enough to this club and has earned the right to have a point of view on things and its unfair to insult and criticize the guy just because his is not the same as you.

By all accounts.........yes just more bullshit rumours started by those that hate the board.

I don't know, you're the one saying it's not rocket science to be the manager of a professional football club.

I just assumed you would have some sort of inkling as to what it takes with such a statement, as well as the boldened one above?

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not but if I started fighting with someone every time they said something I don't like I wouldn't be done fighting.

I'm sure you would have set him straight.

Which many footballers do before moving on into management also, by learning closely from their managers and coaches at club level.

OK. May be I was not right to compare us with Barca (of course, they don`t win domestic cup every year, but Barca have some very serious rivals and their main matches is in La Liga and CL) - my point is that it should be just normal to crush other teams in Scotland.

    I was being sarcastic.

I certainly wouldn't have done "nothing" at some * shouting racist abuse from my own crowd - never said you had to get into a fight though.

This season has now left a very bitter taste in my mouth after today! Shocking we have only the league this season, would rather have cups than go unbeaten the whole season. His tactics where * shocking today and not for the first time.

Would say give him till next season. Let's see what money he will get in the summer and the players come in as well.

Most managers are ex-players, there's no doubt it's easier to break into the job if you're a familiar face.

I'm talking about the job itself though. I've never bought into the idea that it would be particularly difficult.

I'm not one of those thinking Lennon should go, I just don't think winning the league should be held as a major positive under the circumstances. It is as uncompetitive as any league I've ever seen. I absolutely believe most football fans could do it under the same circumstances :50:

Do you think it is rocket science?

The say to day running of a club can be as involved as you like. MON was never around towards the end of his time at Celtic. Strachan was a constant fixture. They were both successful and followed completely different paths.

    I don't know.

Tell me what the day-to-day duties of a professional football manager are and then we might be able to make a decision.
