Poor season. Knocked out of League Cup by Morton in the 3rd Round, knocked out of the Scottish Cup before the Quarter Finals, lost 5 out of 6 in the Champions League. Won the SPFL, where there is zero competition, no point pretending otherwise.

If he wants to stay, I'd still stick with him another season and see how it goes. For the first time since we beat the huns 2-0 in January 2011, I wouldn't be devastated to see him go.

It is unbelievible how many important cup matches we have lost during Lennon`s time - Ross County, Kilmarnock, Hearts, St Mirren, Aberdeen. With our money we should be like Scotland`s Barcelona, but... I think that problam is not only this match, but we just have too average team and it is also Lennon`s fault, that we have bought Pukki, Balde, Boerigter, but don`t have any good forward. They are just waste of money. And now man of the match - Johansen. Ledley was different class. It is good to win every match in SPFL, but this was the most important match after exit from CL. Actually some of these matches in SPFL were not very good, too.

How can anyone say he doesn't look interested. He was practically on the park at some points today, barking orders.

Such a shame that so many of his tried and trusted failed to deliver today.

Mowbray would win the league if he was in charge this season, I honestly believe that.

I know it sounds flippant, but do you not believe that if you were manager of Celtic this season that you wouldn't be favourite to win the league?

By the end of this season we will have likely achieved the same as what we could have done ourselves. Blunt but I believe it.

No way will Lawwell sack lennon by the way...too much of a yes man

I'm hinting that Lennon should possibly leave so that Celtic can progress as a team and he progress as a manager. I don't dislike Lennon by the way, I just think that this type of performance today has happened all to often

Barca have only won the Spanish Cup three times in the last 16 years.

The players would have no idea who you were, they wouldn't respect you, dressing room would be lost instantly, players would be leaving easier, you wouldn't have a clue how to conduct yourself at a training session or how to manage the team mentally. All you would be doing is picking a team and hoping for the best. Keep dreaming though.

Of course he would. I also believe he would won against Karagandy and Ajax. I mean it...this season is the worst since 2009.

I don't know what it takes to manage a professional football club, never mind one the size of Celtic!

Tell me - as "far gone a conclusion" it is that we have "won" the league, does it not take a high level of professionalism to actually continually grind out results most weeks?

That was a poor analogy from the poster cause they have Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Sociedad etc....but I see their point

Barca have their priorities wrong trying to do well in the CL. Every team in all the big leagues should know how important winning the domestic cup is.

He beat a better team than Karagandy in the CL qualifiers that season (Dynamo Moscow)...

I find it difficult to condemn Lennon. On one hand I would say his performance as a celtic MANAGER has been average, the domestic cup performances have been well below standard, never mind our exit today against the dons which was bad enough but to lose at home against a bunch of part timers is inexcusable. Lennon as a MAN has my deepest admiration, to put up with all that has been thrown at him is testament to his character and this is where it becomes difficult. Do I think his time would be at an end if he was judged as any other manager? Yes. Yet he is no other manager, he has to put up with circumstances of such an extreme nature, who is to say his judgement today was not affected by the build up to today's game?? I backed him when we trailed the huns by a good 10points that season and I have revelled in some of our performances in Europe and against the scum but all in all I have been seriously underwhelmed. Should he be given longer? I think so, another season anyway, he deserves that but another season like this then I believe it is game over for him unfortunately!

The players may have lost the game but it's the manager who picks the team and lays out the tactics.
They are ALL to blame for the result today and for the life of me i can't see why Lennon keeps getting his tactics wrong in Cup games.
He knows the strengths and weaknesses of his players and should be playing them to their strengths.
Sammy should be dropped. As should Izzy.
They are both not trying often enough throughout the season to warrant being in so many games.
