I said it before the game that starting Matthews was a massive mistake and samaras playing as well was a joke, tactics were all wrong to start with.

 

The manager sees the players every day in training and picks the side he should know the side he thinks is going to win the game days prior.

So yes the players are to blame but typical Lennon leaving mos of his subs to the last ten minutes meaning the wont even have time to get up to speed never mind make an impact.

First game i've been excited about since the champions league. well gutted now. No Hardwell and Celtic put out the cup. Great start to the day

That Aberdeen team have grown men playing for them.
Robson ran the midfield and in footballing terms hes almost a pensioner.
Mcginn and rooney had pace and hunger.
with the money the celtic team is on they should be dominating these players.
some of our bhoys have to look at themselves in the mirror..
a little humility would go a long way

 

Two of those names haven't exactly proved themselves, the other is highly regarded.

 

That today is why cup matches are so special.

Any team has a good chance of winning a cup.

Too many new players bedding in for me. Aberdeen deserved their win and they are a very good side this season.

Hopefully, we'll gel now in the League and be ready for next season.

 

i tried to phrase it differently, but I think Wulliebad has nailed it.

 

Did more than sammy who played 4 times as long.
It was also his first game time for us in a game we was losing...the guy did well.

 

Would love Redknapp to come to celtic.
