Will be remembered as a good player for Celtic but he went missing in a fair few games too. At least we got £800,000 for him.

Would have liked him to stay to be honest but he's chosen Crystal Palace over Celtic so * him, he wont be missed anywhere near as much as some players that have left in the past.

So good luck Joe, its all downhill from here.

I think Hooper was the start of the exodus. Our team chemistry last year was unrivaled. Hooper, Ledley, Stokes, Matthews, Forster, Commons were 6 players who were often seen out socialising together and the others would also be seen out and about.

But these 6 were proper close mates. I think Forster and Matthews will be away in the Summer. Who knows about Stokes and Commons. I would like to think Commons has the ambition to make himself a legend at this club which he could still do and we need his experience.

The next couple of years are going to be huge in terms of the squad and maybe even management.

Waited far too long he wanted talks last season we never looked bothered then we offered the lad a pay cut one of our better players right kick in the teeth that . We should be doing everything possible to tie up the core of our squad.

I think Hooper was the start tbh, although that couldn't be helped.

Ledley, Forster, Hooper, brown, commons and Matthews all seemed to have a great relationship and chemistry and it's sad to see that being slowly broken up.

Yes. He would have. Why on earth do you think that he wouldn't?

And why don't you think that we were getting £600,000 until we tried a bit harder and got £800,000?

The boards fault, should have been sorted over a year ago, he loved it here.

The board made him a take it or leave it offer of a reduced wage, you can't do that to your top performers.

We should just be glad they were willing to come here and play in the first place.
At the end of their careers, are they gonna talk about getting knocked out of the league cup or winning another relegation dogfight, or playing for Celtic in the Champions' League, beating Barcelona and getting to the last 16?

Celtic to Crystal Palace, it sounds ridiculous. A relegation battle is"every boys dream" apparently.

You're talking as though no player has ever left us before. Why wasn't Hooper or Wanyama "the start"?

:56: bit in bold. Everyone who is here * loves it here. But they all love money even more!

How do people know for a fact that he was offered a reduced wage?

    Utterly disgraceful post.

Go stand in the corner and think about what you have done, don't come out until you are ready to apologise.
