    Maybe he could play like guidetti with his runs and hold up play and wearing his cap sideways and not bother scoring for 4 or 5 months.

    Well I don't hate the guy so not quite there.

    I didn't want Guidetti to sign. Mind you, he's a far better footballer than Griffiths.

    We need someone who can both score some goals and control the ball regularly and not give the ball away.

    I really don't understand how some people can't understand that. People that aren't huge fans of Griffiths aren't just slagging the guy for no reason, we're just saying we need better.

    He really doesn't suit the lone striker role at all. The 3 behind him are always too far away to link up properly.

    Griffiths is a goal scorer, never been great at hold up player. He works his * off for the team as well, press the backline and making runs to make space for others, wouldn't get that from Guidetti.

    That's not his fault though. He can deffo improve and has been to be fair but when he had support coming behind he laid off at least 2 beauties to se. us away. Plus scoring a peach and setting up one..

    Am I the only one who thought he played quite well in difficult circumstances today? I mean even players like Commons, Rogic and Bitton were struggling with their close control and short passing on that pitch and he had very little support at times.
