Unbelievable game, I distinctly remember the build up on the BBC with Alan Hansen and Shearer and the likes talking absolute * about how England were better set up (having Milner and Gerrard out wide :56:) in their 4-4-2 formation as opposed to Germany's stupid 4-2-3-1 with unknown players like Ozil, Khedira and Muller in their ranks.....

By *, it was * unbelievable when Germany absolutely destroyed them in that game, Ozil ran Barry ragged in midfield and their midfield in total absolutely dominated England.

I would love to say they've learned their lesson in recent years, but you just know they'll start getting super hyped up with a few silly wee friendly wins and Rooney, Sturridge, Barkley and that come into a bit of form in the premier league, you know they'll just big themselves up again.

Surely a Brazil x Argentina final would be the best?

Perhaps, I always like Argentina-Germany games though... and added to the fact England hates both nations.

I love the World Cup like people have said being in South America gives that extra spice. I have missed exams and even missed out on getting laid due to to the WC. I love watching all the games.

Neymar will have to be on form for Brazil to win it I think Uruguay will shock a lot of people I could even see them getting to the final maybe they will be the team to knock England out. I did a prediction and my semis were Brazil v Uraguay and
Argentina v Germany and I'm going for a Germany v Brazil final. It's just a shame Eire are not in it.

The group the US got drawn into relieved any hope I had for advancement, so now I'll be able to watch it without being nervous. Definitely looking forward. Would love to see Argentina beat Brazil in the final.

If it makes you feel any better it's not just The Netherlands where this happens. My enthusiasm for the Scotland team has been dampened to the point of non non existence by how cuntish 99% of Scotland fans are. Wearing kilts to the pub (why, FFS?) to shout and scream about a sport they know nothing about, all whilst acting like a pantomime Scotsmen as if that's what being patriotic is all about. *.

I'll be in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France whilst the World Cup is on and I intend to watch all these teams with their fans on big screens (I assume they do that?). I'll form an opinion then. :icon_mrgreen:

USA lost 2 x 1 in a training match against São Paulo. Jadson & Luís Fabiano scored for SP, Wondolowski scored for the US.

Can't wait for it! Fancy Brazil to win it . Though I hope it's Argentina and that's who I'm putting my money on, don't see much value betting on Brazil. Think Columbia could surprise a few, semi final maybe. Don't think any European team will win it

Shame about Falcao. You always want the best players at the big tournaments.

Ehh, it was a glorified scrimmage composed of fringe players. I don't see that it's too relevant to how they'll play in the summer.
