Personally I'm more irritated by the Queen Anne coin than the Lord Kitchener one. She's the cow that put Scotland's arm so far up it's back that our nobles sold us out and bounced us into a Union the Scottish people never wanted nor voted for.

Easy enough to let the Government know what we think of the coin. When Scotland gains independence tell them that as far as Scotland is concerned it will not be accepted as legal tender, a coin honouring a mass murderer.

No one gives a * about the coin itself, so don't insult people's intelligence. It's what the coin says about our country that people are uncomfortable with.

To be fair, if someone signs up for the army on the say so of a two quid coin they probably deserve to get shot. Right up the *.

In fact, the more I think about it the more I think this £2 coin deal could be a blessing in disguise.

We can now hopefully see the British populace that are stupid enough to do something they read on a 2 quid coin all funnelled into the British army, where they'll undoubtedly end up shooting themselves (or each other), or letting off a grenade in their own pocket by mistake or something.

If we could get a 50p piece that encourages people to play tig on the M74 we'd be onto another winner.

People are just looking to be offended in my opinion. Anything to get in a wee kick about how terrible Britain is. If you don't like it leave. Simple.

What about people like me? I didn't like it, left, and still get in my wee digs from across the sea.

Best of both worlds, eh? :bbpd:

What are you talking about ? If you are unhappy in with the way this country is and have the means to leave then you should do so. Why would you want to stay in a country where even the images on the coins make you feel uneasy ?

So, if you are unhappy with certain parts of a country you should just leave? You should agree with every single decision a country makes?

Should we just '* off' because we have a different view of what our country should be? It's the most idiotic * pish I've ever * heard.

Well it seems you have hit the jackpot then. If you don't like a country and have the means to leave then why wouldn't you ? No countries perfect right enough.
