Suarez Vs Aguero

Suarez started off slowly under Dalglish's reign tbh and has stepped up a gear significantly since returning from the first 8 game ban.

 

Suarez for 2 reasons
1. He plays with a poorer squad of players then Aguero who has Yaya, Silva, Negredo, Nasri all around him
2. He is world class and I think he is starting to win a lot of people over again which has been proved by him winning that fan award this week
He is fully worth that 200k a week contract Liverpool are about to offer him he is the best PL player by a mile

 

Personally i think Aguero is better. Suarez recent form has had an influence on this poll. Very similar players but i favour Aguero as i think his general touch dribbling and link up play is better.

 

Unlike Suarez, be it unfair or not, you'd need to take into consideration that Aguero has CL goals at City and a great record:

16 apps, 12 starts, 9 goals, 4 assists. 1099 minutes played.

 

Aguero is unreal, so what does that say about Suarez who is a level above?

 

Aguero scores important goals for City. Suarez scoring a lot this season (note his form is great this season with the advantage of arriving late and having no mid-week European football)

I think it ended this season, But Man City had a fantastic run of winning every game Aguero scored in. Aguero is the better big game player, a lot of Suarez's goals coming against the like of Norwich, West Brom and Wigan.

 

Except he's also scored against Chelsea, Manchester City, Man United, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton and co.

 

Their Premier League records are

Aguero 79 games 48 goals 20 assists
Suarez 88 games 55 goals 30 assists

Pretty close but Suarez stats are better and he plays in a weaker team.

 

Exactly the whole argument for me,Liverpool are by far nowhere near as strong as Man City

 

Aye, surrounding players like Silva, Navas, Nasri, Tevez, Dzeko and Negredo compared to Coutinho, Sterling, Downing, Moses, Borini, Carroll and Sturridge are miles apart.

 

who cares who they play for. Kevin Phillips was top scorer in the premier league for Sunderland. Suarez plays 90 minutes all the time. On a number of occasions Aguero has been subbed and rested for future matches after already scoring 1 or 2 goals and not been able to complete hat tricks.

Liverpool are the poorer side but they still make a * of a lot of chances for Suarez. I made my judgement on the individual. Its obviously peoples opinion but im scratching my head to why the poll is a landslide.

 

I'd say Suarez because of his ability to produce something extraordinary. It's a difficult decision though because Aguero is lethal in front of goal and is also a top of the range player.

 

Aguero is more than a poacher. I would say he is in the same bracket as Suarez quality wise. Both can change a game at the drop of a hat. Suarez will go down as one of the best strikers ever. He is already Uruguay's top scorer. He is only 26 :smiley-laughing002:

I could see him in a Bayern shirt. That is the move he will make. It will be Bayern or Real Madrid.

 

Considering everything, Suarez is the best player in Europe for me apart from Messi and Ronaldo.
Imagine him having the same support that Aguero gets at Man City!

Kenny got mocked for buying Carroll for 35 and Suarez for 15........but id say he is worth 60-70 plus just now on the open market!!! Carroll......maybe 5!

 

At the moment Suarez is playing the best football of his career, scoring goals for fun and when he isnt scoring himself he's assisting someone else, all this in a far lesser team than Aguero has around him.

Just to point out, I think Aguero is a tremendous player aswell. :icon_mrgreen:

Great for Liverpool and the Premiership in general.

 

Suarez cost 22.7 mate. Absolute bargain even at the time, was astonished no-one else big went in for him, he had just banged a half century for Ajax and played brilliantly at the World Cup.

If Bale is worth 85 than Suarez must be worth about 900 million.

FFS I * love Luis Suarez.

I'll say that's only to increase his value (even more) in the transfer market, can't see him really staying long term at LFC. Bayern, Barca and Real will fight it out this summer for him.
