Yes, infact, they were. Last season was full of praise for the board, this season they are getting criticism and rightly so.

 

To be fair 6 months ago they were the best thing ever But again, I could forgive them for focusing on making money but I can't forgive them for the treatment of our fans, especially tonight in the Nou Camp, absolutely disgusted.

 

They * up in the summer but all in all they have done a good job. Van Dijk has been a fantastic signing, Biton looks like he could be good. Boerrigter was a very exicting signing with good pedigree, our "biggest" transfer for years but just our luck that was the one that hasn't worked out at all.

As for all the GB stuff, you can never expect a bunch of rich moneymen and some ultra left wing socialists to get on, as i've been saying for ages we should have some sort of middleman in place who can negotiate because this split in the support was inevitable with it all just being left to the GB and their "fans" vs the board and their "fans", even though we should all be on the same side.

 

Lawwell has to go.

 

Boards ambition = get into the group stages = ££££££££
Playing in the C.L is only a bit of fun.

 

The Board are ripping the soul out of our Club.

 

At least our finances look good... who cares about our fans or the football.

 

Maybe not but backing the manager and going for the players he wants would be a start im not expecting us to go out and spend 6million on one player but we wont spend that little bit extra for the quality we need . My opinion any way

What went on tonight, re-fans, is shocking & cant be defended.

 

I would blame whoever signed the players in the Summer. They're just not good enough.

 

What if we don't get into the Cl for the next 3 years....what then.
They have to keep something to get us through the poor years.
I don't think the next accounts are going to have the big bank balance all the board haters think there is going to be.
But i agree in part there is no need for us to be sitting with 40 million in the bank.

 

The warning signs were they when we put in those terrible perfomances against Elfsborg and karagandy. Lennon had the money to buy players and the only player he brought in who has done well is Van Dijk!

All of these signings could be classed as duds at this current moment. That's 7M on these players alone and Lennon has to take some blame.

 

No but they can be blamed for not closing the "3 or 4 deals that fell through for whatever reason" as Lenny himself said.

 

Peter Lawwell decisions decisions, should i buy a top class striker or give samaras a new contract, hmmmm i get my bonus win lose or draw and they * mugs turn up and buy my twice yearly bullshit at transfer windows.

So taking that all into consideration, can someone get sammy on the phone ive got a new 4 year deal sitting here with his name on it

 

This is modern football clubs do not give a * about fans .

 

We have a well documented plan that relies on us not getting into the Champions League. That comes through the wage structure, the money we spend on players after the money we've raked in though? Doesn't add up. If we don't get into the Champions League for the next 3 years we'll know who to blame.

 

The sad thing for me is that tonight is not the worst thing that has happened to our club this week.

 

I don't think that's the way it works. I would imagine either Lennon has a transfer budget to spend on whoever he likes (FM style), or he identifies his targets to the board and they agree how much they would be willing to play for a particular player.

I think we signed the wrong players in the summer, basically players who would have added to last years squad rather than replace what left.

 

what 3 or 4 deals didnt we close ???? to my knowledge we got the players we wanted.
