The last time I got excited about a youtube video it was Massimo Donati.

There was one video of him and the videos of him training with us when he signed. You could tell in those videos he was gonna be good, not sure how good, but he just had that bit of composure and strength that sent him apart from the rest. Nothing was rushed and everything was completed well.

I thought he looked really good on his left foot as well. Couple of screamers.

But aye, he looks like the sort of player we could be doing with.

I don't know whether to be happy or a bit annoyed that John Park is away in Japan and other such far flung places looking for players.

Surely, what with all the difficulties surrounding work permits etc it would be easier and cheaper to stay in and around Europe and try and snap up the best potential (relatively) close to home.

However if we get another Naka then i'm not complaining one bit!

Of course you can't see any weaknesses he may have defensively. At first i was thinking, "Ach not another wee guy." But i honestly think he looks like a very skillful player, who's good with both feet, some nice tricks and scores good goals.

I'm not sure exactly what i'm supposed to say. Should i be all negative about it?

Do you go and spend 4-6million on Gauld after a good half season the SPFL, or do you go for someone like this on a free?

Sure it's a bit of a gamble, but 22 goals and 17 assists in 88 games is not so bad. Also if he goes to the World Cup and plays well, then there will be some money to be made.

But from a footballing perspective, going by the video, because there's jack all else to go on, i'd say you're getting a player like Gauld, but for free.

Ki was more mizuno like mizuno than naka in my opinion although somehow we managed to make a huge profit on him.

he wasn't very good, which I believe is borne out by the fact that he couldn't hack it at Swansea and is now on loan to the worst team in the premiership.

I have no idea I haven't watched them all season, but it wouldn't be difficult to stand out in that team

i'd rather fork out the money for Gauld tbh. he knows the league, has proven his talent in the league, is young and fits our transfer policy, will only get better and if we don't sign him soon, he'll go south of the boarder.

obviously, if we sign the Japanese lad, i'll back him but i'd rather have Gauld.
