Do you think it is acceptable that other clubs, not just Sevco, parade around soldiers at games?

No I don't. I don't think they should have displays about the army just like I don't think we should have displays about the IRA.

These banners are not outlawed first and foremost.

The medium is the board from authorities to the fans, the board is not sticking up for fans and 125 year club creation instead they are doing the opposite.

He has no stance to claim we are not political any more and to state it damages the clubs reputation.

Don't get this whole reputation thing. Folk aware, 95% of English club fans hate us.

Probably one of the main reasons were so popular in Europe is due to irish republican politics. Been all over Italy for example and their mad into it.

Have to agree with these comments. Until such times, someone proves in court that UEFA are wrong with their views of politics in football(which I dont see changing), it would seem a bit mental to have our club constantly up in front of the beaks being fined, because sooner rather than later, UEFA are going to up the ante,punishment-wise.:shamrock:

Many of our players in history have fought for the British Army, again I think people on here forget the history of Celtic.

It was a display highlighting an important issue that has been affecting the most important aspect of our club(our fans) for a number of years now.

but why would they want to stay at out club if we plaster bobby sands around the crowds?

I am all for freedom fighters and i do agree with what bobby sands has done for Ireland, but i dont understand why we need to hold banners of him around our club

If they don't want to, good for them. I don't care either way.

We're just going to go in circles as yet again this comes back to my main point that I don't really want us to have anything to do with the IRA.
