Irish people are more prone to think your a knacker if you wear the hoops, not encountered that attitude in a good while though.

wear football tops playing football and occasionally around the house. don't tend to wear them going to the games these days either, a scarf is much easier to stick in a pocket if I'm heading for some beers afterwards. personally I wouldn't wear them out and about but each to their own.

I wear football tops quite often, don't see the problem with it to be honest.

Any grown man who wears a football top outside of a stadium or fives game deserves to be burnt at the stake. Ridiculous.

I need to wear it at match days. If I don't then we'll lose.

I wear a Celtic top regularly:

    1. Almost always in the stadium where I watch Celtic play.

    2. Almost always in the pub where I watch Celtic play.

    3. Almost always when travelling to the place where Celtic is playing (can be the day before the game).

    4. Almost always when travelling back after I saw Celtic play (can be the day after the game).

    5. Always when I go out running.

    6. Always when I play squash.

    7. Rarely when I go to the office in the weekend.

    8. Sometimes when I go to the supermarket or hang around in the house.

And yes, I am almost 30.

Why are people so offended by what other people wear, especially when it's the top of the club we all support? :56:

The only thing I would say is, never wear the full kit. That is definitely a no no.

Agree that no sponsor on the top looks better.

    You mean people in Dublin.

Why do people spend so much money on a Celtic shirt to wear around the house or playing 5s?
