    Pukki -- it would not surprise me if Celtic have him lined up as Stokes replacement. He is a similar type of player and Stokes has not signed a deal yet, saying in the papers he may need to talk to other clubs in Jan.

    Celtic don't normally struggle for goals (by our forwards) and we should have some sympathy for fans of other clubs who suffer from a weak forward line every season.

    January signing is definitely on the cards

    How many shots on goal has Pukki had? Seems that the defence and midfield have been getting more chances than our STRIKER.

    Far better performance barring a few spells. Midfield working well together and Van Dijk class as usual. Still lacking a proper striker though, Brown finding himself further forward than Pukki a few times in that half.

    Keep calm and stick it on Van Dijk's head...

    The inconvenient truth is that while it is not great to watch, we are unlikely to need to sign another player for the next 5 years to win the league in Scotland. There is just no need. I think our strikers are very poor but you get what you pay for more often than not. And if we werent willing to pay £5m or so for a proven goal scorer in the summer before a champions league campaign, we are not going to spend in January when all we will likely have left is the league and scottish cup.

    On a positive note, I think Van Dijk is a real find and really looks the part, both at the back and when he goes forward.
