In the winter transfer window we need to sign a striker that as a decent goal scoring record, we seem to go for strikers who cant put the ball in the net

 

That's been the problem for a while. Lack of creativity and someone who can spot an opening.

The strikers get all the blame as at the end of the day they're judged on goals scored. If they never get the ball I can't see how they can score though.

 

Pukki playing well today, couple of nice touches so far.

 

One thing I have been surprised at is his pace..

I thought he was a lot faster in clips I saw before he came but he really struggles to burst away from spl defenders

It kills me every single time. I'd love to see some stats on the success (or lack of) we have going down the wings. It's an absolutely hopeless tactic but it's all we ever do, which is 100% Lennons fault. As is team selection, which is woefull. We have two attacking players on, against ROSS COUNTY! The whole midfield (bar Brown), should be made up of attacking players in the league.

 

I feel that with Izzy. You've got to like him. It wouldn't bother men if he left tomorrow. I think he's over-rated. One good season

 

Exactly. Not someone who makes fancy touches that do * all.

Just want a striker who can bang a decent chance in the net confidently, not fluff it like he's scared to shoot.
