Apparently thousands of our support were singing nasty songs about Mr Cooper at Ibrox back in 2000. That would mean the whole visiting support I think (I've never been there and I'm not sure what our allocation was for there).

Still waiting on that video...

 

Used to get the Broomloan road stand which was 2 tiers about 7 thousand I think..

I can barely remember yesterday never mind 13 years ago but I just can't buy it that 7000 of our support would sing anything bad about Cooper. A few may have tried to get it going but I think it would have died out real quick. I may soon be proven wrong though...

 

I went to do some research on youtube and the only thing I found was about 20 guys singing it on a bus. no trace of 2000 at ibrox.

Exactly. There's no footage of it ever happening. As I posted earlier the only example was around 20 guys on a bus. No way it would happen on a large scale at a game.

 

Aye, the person who suggested it logged off pretty sharpish when asked to prove it.

I have heard one davie cooper song at CP sang by one guy sitting at the top of the stairs in my section.

That's all it would be buses or pubs where i've seen pretty much a whole pub join in all wrecked but that's about 150 people top whack..

Only a tiny minority would sing or get that going and hardly any would join in at a game as already been pointed out..

Basically the ibrox thing is bollocks..

 

Ok just back in here after seeing this * from earlier that I got....

Yesterday Fernando Rickson was found to have the disease,i came on to post in Sevcomedia section that it was awful and tragic.....some members were already stating they didnt give a *.....this to me is * behaviour......OK you dont care, we get it..but theres no need to hear it at this moment....the guy has a death sentence and I don't give a * who he played for,he has a family and kids,and if anyone saw the video it was actually upsetting....i have no problem hun bashing all day,i do it myself,but theres a * line to me in the sand that when someone is given news like this there is no need to come on and say,you dont give a * etc....beacause if thats the case i would apprecite you didnt post it (but hey ho its a forum so,whatever floats ya boat)...i have heard many people stating they dont give a * becoz he played for them,just saddens me that people get like this, at this time....AND BTW,i * work for a living so im not on all * day,some of us work and dont pick up * giros,so if i posted something you dont like,give it time for the poster to come back and explain.


I didnt blame anyone in particular I meant to state (if I didnt) ive heard enough of that * over he years.....jinky/tommy/and a sad disease for rickson...

So sorry that I feel so strong that draw a line in the sand over death of rival football players

Other thread had a few posters stating it, i don't care who they are or judge them from now on,its their opinion....I just thought it could have been left out due to the nature of this guys future.

I post in a thread I believe to have talking points and a general laugh/pisstaking....if I stronlgy disagree with a thread I will stay away from it.


On the plus point most people on here and fully behind him and that's fantatstic.....some aren't I guess

 

You went on a mad rant slating everyone on here who had 100% wished him well and got your knickers tangled up..

I thought you might have held your hands up and admitted you got it wrong and went ott..

But your right on one thing,it's going away from what the threads about so leave it there..

 

I was getting to the few people i had seen not giving a *.....i understand 99% are fully behind him...

So if it makes it easier on people then i will apologise to the people that that are fully behind him and thought i mighta had a go at them,i didnt,nor mean to do this.....but DID to those who stated they dont give a *...
