After 1 Champions League Game, Where Do You Think We'll Finish In The Group?

Realistically third is the best we can hope for. I just hope we don't do a Dinamo Zagreb or Rangers and finish on 1-2 points.

Does anyone remember Rangers finishing on two points in a group containing Stuttgart, Sevilla and Unirea Urziceni ? If it goes pear shaped for us and they start crawling out of the woodwork remind them of this. In their 3 games at Ibrox they got beat 4-1, 4-1 and 2-0. Any criticism of us is cheap considering their recent exploits in the CL.

4th. Just don't know where the goals are gonna come from, if we get one or two chances against Barca we'll have to take them, like we did last year, but after the last few games I'm not confident at all.

 

I'd say it's 50/50 for 3rd with us & Ajax. Expecting qualification is an unrealistic expectation that can pretty much be put to be bed if we get beat on Tuesday.

 

Realistically 3rd as for me we're the 3rd best team in the Group.

 

I think anything less than 3rd would be a disappointment considering how poor ajax are just now.

 

Ourselves and Ajax fight for 3rd probably.

 

3rd or 4th. I dont think we will pick up anything away so it depends how we do at home.

 

We will probs end up in the Europa although anything can still happen, the teams still to gel properly and if we can find some form we can beat them all at home, then 2nd might be within reach.

 

We are still capable of 2nd place. I think Barca will run away with the group but its going to be a proper fight for the 2nd and 3rd places. I think all 3 teams will be in with a chance on the last game day. I think Milan will just edge us out and take 2nd. Hopefully we will take 3rd

 

As long as we cancel out milans result against us at the San siro ie. a 2-0 win for us at CP then we have a chance because I can see Ajax taking points of Milan

 

1st. I'd settle for 2nd.

2nd but we need to be ahead of milan on goal difference or whatever is it that counts over the two games. Can't see them taking any points from barca not with the * team they have atm

 

We will get 2nd. 9 points at home, a point in Amsterdam.

Milan look * this season and will get humped off Barca.

Ajax have not looked great either.

2nd is still on for us, but it'll be extremely difficult.

 

This tbh, can't see us scoring a lot. Unless we take something from all of our home games and both the Ajax games, its near enough mission impossible. I'm not overly confident. Should we have taken something from Milan (and, we should have), it would have seemed a VERY doable task. Now, ehh

..My main worry is the lack of goals though

 

4th. If we can't beat an poor Milan side and more to the point can't score any goals then we are stuffed. Unless we change tactics ( 'cos everyone knows how we set up to play, both in formation and players) Home, 4 points vs Ajax/Milan, Away 0 points. Still maybe the Tooth Fairy exists and there is Santa Claus.

 

4th. See no reason to assume we can beat anyone in this group

 

Think Ajax look weaker this season so I think 3rd. 4th wouldn't be awful though.

 

Said from the off we'd struggle for 3rd in this group. I'd well settle for that.
