Lennon was absolutely spot on in his comment there. Players have to earn respect. While both iniesta and neymar (arguably) are world class talents the way they conduct their business on the pitch couldn't be more different.

They are a world class side but you know when you have them begging for free kicks you have them worried.

This might sound a bit soppy but even as disappointing as this and the Milan results have been the bhoys have done us proud and it's * excellent to be in the CL.

Lacked a bit of bravery on the ball but we created chances and didn't take them, we move on, still have a great chance of European football after Xmas and some great games to come

That has become debatable, over the years. They are predictble, even with Messi around. Looking at the highlights, I saw very few dangerous chances until the goal. They are easy to defend against. Needing a red card to scrape a 1-0 win is not world class.

If it's 'debatable' whether Barcelona are a world class side or not, I think I'll need to rethink my life.

    Just in.

Know what really * me off? The amount of times the referee tried to let us play the advantage when it clearly wasn't beneficial to do so.

Once he played advantage when we were crowded out on the touchline and another time when it was the middle of a * rammy on the edge of our 18 yard box and we were struggling to get it away. Why not give the free kick there? Surely goes against the whole 'advantage' side of the rule. Add into that his giving Barca free kicks for every little nudge and the sending off and he had an absolute shocker.

Thought we played really well. Defence was outstanding and rarely looked really troubled despite the pressure. Not the best going forward but I like what I'm seeing. A bit of cutting edge in the final 3rd and we'll have a fantastic European squad on our hands.

Thats the way I see it as well.

*. Domestically they have won 7 out of 7 and scored 24 goals for the loss of only 5. In their last CL game they beat Ajax by 4 goals. In their last 3 games against us they've scored 4. Two of them deep in injury time.

Maybe we are a bit better than we get credit for.

Because we worked our arses off. If we gave it less than 110% effort we shouldve been rippen a new one.

They are the best team in the world.

I think this is it. But it seems to be sacrilege for many Celtic fans to accept it.

Slightly off topic, but how can you say that after Bayern beat them 7-0?

I think they are very predictable, but that doesnt mean they are easy to stop!!

However, they do look as though they really miss Messi any time i have seen them play without him.I hope he is ok for the remaining games!

Brown is doing this kind of stuff far too often. He's supposed to be our captain, yet probably cost us the game tonight. Barcelona were doing nothing but passing it about before we went down to 10 men.

Anyone reckon Brown should be stripped of the armband and have it handed to Sammy? Maybe that's a little harsh, still slightly * off with the ref.

I wouldn't mind some stepovers, dummy crosses e.t.c in the final third - See the team do it often enough in warm ups and things. Any kind of imagination in the final third would be nice... So predictable!

We need to do this every game, otherwise we risk defeats even in domestic competitions. It's not like Barcelona are divine or something. We got undone by a stupid anger fit from Brown.

    Just this part....

the referee's angle had no influence whatsoever, because he had his yellow card out and was about to book brown........now I can't speak for the linesman or who was in his ear other than the Barca players that swarmed round him. But something changed his mind and it certainly was not his view of the situation.

IMO it may have been Neymar's reaction, but even at that the ref had the yellow out so I don't know.
