Dosent matter about defending etc he is paid to score goals and that is what he done, some of our strikers will learn that

Well that defense held Brazil scoreless in the first game, AND they were playing a man down. I have seen so many instances where a player will score a great goal, or make a great run, and people will dismiss it as "poor defending" or "poor goalkeeping".

Also if you're saying Hibs and Hearts are better than MLS teams, I'd assume you've never watched much MLS in your life. All you have to do is compare the performances of the USA U-20s and the Scotland U-20s, both full of players from their domestic leagues...

he looks an amazing investment in my opinion. he is fast, strong, can link midfield and defence well, can SCORE , has a good first touch (ie better than miller and beattie) and he is also just as good as Pato who plays for Inter and is wanted by tons of clubs. i say sign him and play him in europe qualifiers and the upcoming friendlies.

Well I count 6 players on the squad from the two clubs, including Calum Elliot who I believe was being touted as one of the aces of the team.
How much SPL do I watch? As much as Setanta North America will show.

How much would he cost, if Sharlie Jospeph is worth more than £1million & his worldwide profile is so amazingly high, especially for someone who has done * all in any decent competition!!

Would do well to sign him though, I like the look of him - he has skill coming out of his *, but always so hard to determine how he would play against quality competition in a game that really matters (not friendlies).

I'd be prepared to spend £4million on him, I'd say that was a good price for both parties, but I think his potential & entry into the US market would command a much higher fee - 1 we could not justify!

MLS would probably ask for $10million (5m quid). He is really the only player with the potential to help Celtic gain prominence in the US. Outside of Adu, a Mexican signing would honestly sell the most shirts in the US what with 15 million futbol-crazy Mexicans living in the states.

i dont think hes worth 5m not even nearly. 2-3tops. 5million would almost get you bellamy. whos proven at a higher level. he has potential but so does stevie naismith and hes not worth 5mill

Adu was great last night as well in their U20 win over Brazil. What he does for the second goal setup was amazing. I posted the highlights in the U20 thread

I constantly say Freddy Adu is overrated in many threads but this tournament so far has made a believer out of me.

Looks like he's definetely back in the lime light.
Looks a very promising player, Chelski & Man Ure have been spending a lot on potential lately, I wonder if they'll be tempted by Adu?

TBH if he goes to one of those clubs they will probably just loan him out. Thats why I think if we came in with an offer and the MLS accepted. (Hes * in the MLS) than he will join us.
