    Lawwell should have paid 3 times as much and double the wages for Finnbogason. How's he getting on anyway?

    Players flop. It happens to every club every season. We can spend more but it just means our flops will be more costly if very marginally less likely.

    It was a strange one with Pukki, I thought he had a decent pre season.

    Him, Kayal and Matthews played some great stuff in the begining of Ronny's tenure then next minute he is loaned out.

    I think the board probably had plans to get rid already he's not good enough to play the number 9 and is no probably isn't as good as Stokes for backup on the wings or a link up striker he should be sold ( Unless Stokes gets locked up :56: )

    Hope he scores tomorrow though

    I just think that we need a more mobile ST than Guidetti. Yes there is Griffiths who I rate and Scep who still has to find his feet but I would like Pukki to come back as he gives something different and has gave flashes of brilliance (goal against Hibs)

    Exactly. Don't often say it, but the shirt was too big for Teemu Pukki.

    He didn't have the right mentality to succeed here, and he never will.

    I recall numerous instances last season where he'd be in a good position (sometimes after his own good work) and he'd * it up because he looked terrified.

    He's not a bad footballer, but he looks like he seriously lacks the self-belief to make it at a big club.

    I agree with the timid comments, surely that could have been coached out of him though?

    Whatever it was it clearly wasn't worth the hassle though.

    Mind when he grew a hobo beard for a while and started halfing * though? That lasted all of three weeks or something. :smiley-laughing002:
