Ok, for once be forthright and explain your username, if you don't mind.

By that same logic, we're free to tell him to go * himself.

True, although I'm sure Biton's post was a bit better thought out than some of the zoomers who replied.

He is always going to defend his "home", no matter how misguided and stupid it was.

Kayal will kick his * in anyway.

Haha well he can * off.

The board/club will do nothing, by the way. With him and Griffiths, I now genuinely dislike 2 Celtic players. If either of them score for us, it is completely tainted for me. Could probably get £2-3million for the pair of them.

Some of the responses to this have been absolutely embarrassing, especially since nobody seems to know for definite what the picture says.

It's common knowledge now and it doesn't look good for Biton.

He's free to say what he likes but in this age of quelling free speech inside Celtic Park he should be in big bother...

Of course he is an asset and not a customer so he will probably be fine.

Really? I'm sure your dad (and indeed most people in the army) offer more to life than just their participation in what I agree is an evil institution. We are all complex people carrying out (sometimes knowingly, sometimes not) a variety of good and evil actions.

Find it very difficult to support Biton after that post, knowing what he supports himself...I'm not going to shout him down like those idiots on Twitter did, but it's the same way if a Celtic player supported the BNP or was a Neo-* or something like that - you can't really support them knowing what they support.

I don't like the fact that he served in the IDF any more than the next guy, but I've just about made my peace with it (I'm in no position to judge anyone else based on their moral conduct and conscientious objection takes a lot of courage, more perhaps than I would have). While I did have a problem with the fact that he was once a gun-toting active part of the machinery of violent oppression; I could care less what messages of support he writes, I can see why he has his views and, unpleasant though I do find them, he's entitled to them.

This is not the same as saying he's entitled to say what he likes, of course he isn't, if his message of support was glorifying atrocities or gloating about injustices suffered by the Palestinians, I'd want him gone; but he's entitled to send a message of support to his loved ones risking their lives in what I'm sure they mistakenly believe to be a good cause.

Jewish people the world over will support what their army is doing to those poor people in Palestine . He has family members in the army and he himself may have been conscripted .
I have come across Celtic fans who supported the British army in the occupied 6 . I thought it was wrong because I have seen how the British Army treated Catholics in the North of Ireland . I notice the Israelites blame the Palestinians for putting civilians and children in to protect arms etc . The same arguments were used by the British. ,whilst the British took over Catholic schools and sports halls and went on patrol shielded by small boys and girls .
Many Scottish people supported the occupying army in Ireland , yet most true Celts would be abhorred by what they did .
We are a club open for all, we are diverse don't start nonsense over a man supporting his homeland and his army . Sure he is only young .

But why should he be in big bother? He's not done anything wrong. As much as I disagree with what the Israelis are doing, I'd hate to see him being abused when he plays again which is what looks like will happen.

The GB never done anything wrong and they were ostracised last season.

There can't be one rule for supporters and another for players.

Alright there can and there is, but there shouldn't be.
